About
At first glance Amy appears to be a normal girl, but when danger beckons Amy dawns her uniform and goes to thwart it with her cat Peppermint as their super alter egos, CatGirl and Kitty! Together they ride to the scene of the crime in their hover CatCar.
When she's not fighting crime, she's relaxing at home eating icecream and watching the news or Sailor Moon all while Peppermint naps cozilly on her lap. When she's not doing that she's likely writing while listening to The Beatles, cute lo fi, walking around her neighborhood, the woods, the mall, or reading old mystery novels.
Personality
Amy is a sweet, kind, polite girl who has a strong sense of justice and desire to do what's right. She doesn't understand the point of being rude or mean in the slightest, and if she realizes in hindsight that she was accidentally one of those two things she'd do just about anything to make it up. The only time her temper flares up is when someone else is being mean, hateful or discrimitory.
Design notes
Amy, being a neko, has cat ears and a long fluffy tail that match her hair color. When not relaxing or in uniform, these are tucked away into a hat, her pants or up into her shirt if she she really wants to wear shorts or a skirt. Amy also does NOT have human ears at all. Her hair lays in a way to hide that fact. The star pin on her beaie says 2011, this is the year she was created

Backstory
Amy wasn't always a neko girl. There was a brief point in her life where she was a completely normal little girl. But for Amy, there's a huge gap in her memory and next thing she knew she had cat features.
Trivia
- This OC's got a ton of history with me, having been around for 10 years now. She's actually my first ever OC, made before I even knew what Neko girls, OCs, or DeviantArt even were. Back then, she was just a stick figure with a skirt, two triangles on her head, a triangle on her back and a line coming from her skirt. Amy's come a long way hasn't she?
- Special Trivia! Below is the summary of her OG comic from my 4th grade notebook
- Cut back to fourth-grade math class. A young Jackie is bored, so they start drawing comics in the header of each page of her math notebook. It all started with a stick figure and her cat getting attacked by numbers then brought back to life but now the stick girl has cat bits. She scares off the numbers, realizes she's now part cat, dubs herself CatGirl and becomes a superhero. She and her companion, who she called Kitty, go and save the Peppermint Bank from being robbed by the cashier and the mascot of the bank. They go home, Peppermint (Kitty) goes feral over not bein able to take a nap, Amy calls pet control, pet control is cute DogBoy and his companion, a teeny weeny chocolate lab named Chocolate, come over and save the day. DogBoy and Chocolate, after meeting Amy and Peppermint for the first time, propose. Ames an Pepper say yes, and a few months later they marry. Literally an hour after the wedding, they all regret it and get divorced (or should I say devorsed) and jump up and toss their rings in the air, freeze frame. Cut to later and they all go on a date to the local Baskin heccin Robins. Then the book ran out of paper and everyone takes a moment to direct the reader to the second book. The second book that I don't have anymore because I left it at my old friend Jaden's house. I just remember Peppermint and Chocolate sneakin around, takin icecream from the fridge late at night and blah blah blah I had no focus as a kid. I wanted it to be a superhero thing and it ended up as the world's worst rom-com. Literally, the moment they meet DogBoy and Chocolate is the moment the OG book isn't canon anymore.
