| BIO A serious, work-driven individual who finds himself busy more often than not. Cobalt is attentive, efficient, and always seems to try his hardest to work towards his goals or objectives, whether it be a current task, assisting his teammates, or performing his duties as leader of the area. His disposition is unassuming, but he doesn't trust unless one proves trustworthy. He enjoys fighting as a mean to prove himself and his talents. He dislikes being around others and avoids social situations, often isolating himself.
He has issues handling his temper and controlling his emotions; he is cognizant of this and it drives him to exclude himself from gatherings. He doesn't exactly do this for the sake of others; he is a rather withdrawn person. He is significantly less empathetic than his teammates and comes across as cold and sometimes uncaring. His antisocial tendencies left a disconnect between him and his teammates.
PAST Cobalt was abandoned by his parents, fearful that his "unnatural" sky blue body was a curse to those around him. He grew up without ever knowing his parents and without any support from any guardian figure, leading him to become very self-sufficient and alienated. He then evolved into a Dusk form Lycanroc, a very rare variant feared similarly to how shinies are hated in some cultures. Being the very unique combination of a shiny Dusk Lycanroc made for a rather difficult adolescence full of discrimination, leading him to isolate himself further.
One day, he met a traveling Brionne named Ilia who was gathering a team to explore the region with. Cobalt was rather obdurate, refusing to join her team at first; it took much convincing by Ilia and Hana to join their team. Over time, he warmed up to the rest of the team, helping each become tougher fighters; he even went out of his way to personally train Hana, being careful not to hurt her as he assisted her in becoming much stronger. After the Summer Squad's journey was over, he separated from the team and, as he had become a very powerful and responsible individual, filled the vacancy in leadership in the southwestern area. Not even close teammates know what drove him to do this, as he isn't exactly fond of people.
CURRENT LIFE
Cobalt the Lycanroc is the current leader of the area, being one of the few non-hybrid or -mutant leaders in recent history. With his position, he advocates for regional rights protecting against racial discrimination. He trains during free time or occasionally visits his former teammates in the southwestern cape.
RELATIONSHIPS Ilia || "Leader" || As a decent leader in his eyes, Ilia has earned a considerable amount of Cobalt's respect. After Ganymede's death, Cobalt essentially took over as the pseudo-leader of the team, advising Ilia and issuing recommendations and commands more often than she did. The two share a camaraderie he didn't have with the other team members. Ilia occasionally visits Cobalt and he seems quite hospitable, often secretly enjoying her intrusions.
| | Violet || Annoying teammate || Cobalt found Violet intolerable and incredibly annoying. Violet spent a great deal of time around the blue grump in an attempt to get him to open up to her and the others, which only irritated him. He eventually grew numb to her antics and gave up in trying to chase her off and attempted to be less bitter towards her, which she picked up on and more often tried talking with him rather than pranking him. |
