Basics
Born October 29th, Shane is a hardcore Scorpio, living his life behind a lot of walls and locked doors. He's a very private person, he will not lie to keep a secret but generally, you can trust him to not share personal things with others. He values that in people, that ability to trust and to lean on and to support others, he doesn't like people who are too self-centered and instead prefers those who are truthful and genuine. This can make him seem awfully cold and distant, becoming his friend is almost like applying for a job, he really scrutinizes people and judges things at face value, a personal flaw of his. But once you get inside his very small, very tight-knit circle of friends, he is loyal to a fault. He would do anything for his friends and for the people that he loves, not just keeping their secrets but actually going out of his way to please and support them.
Though initial greetings are often short and rude with Shane, deep inside, he is passionate and loving, loyal to a fault, there is nothing worse to him than betrayal. Once someone breaks his very fragile trust, that's it, you're done, no second chances. He holds onto grudges as though they are the only thing that he has, so those who have made an enemy of him now have that enemy for life. But he's not an idiot, he would never purposefully hurt someone physically, there are laws against that. But should he cross one of his enemy's paths, he does love to make them miserable in other ways, and when angered he can be almost sadistically ruthless, his main weapon of choice being his words and his incredible wit. But he's not above kidnapping and fraud and such things, if his grudges come to that, so it's just better for everyone to stay on his good side.
Likes
- Children, the younger the better (and not in a creepy way either, just in a parental sort of fashion, he used to have three baby sisters)
- Animals, or anything innocent that needs protection and care, probably ties back into his love of children as well, he's an adocate for anything that does not have its own voice
- Cooking, though he is still an amateur at it, he kind of has to learn after coming out as a vegetarian in his teenage years
- Reading, his subject of choice bein non-fiction books, especially self-help books which he thinks are hilariously inaccurate, he always goes out of his way to tear them down but perhaps this is a cry for help, who knows?
Dislikes
- His father Grant, the two can barely have a conversation without Shane getting emotional and raging
- Water, though he can swim just fine, if you're lucky you might be able to talk him into swimming in a pool, but natural bodies of water like lakes and rivers he just completely avoids
- Naps, he takes a sleeping pill at night so that he doesn't dream, but he dreams when he naps and none of them are ever good for him
- Being alone, though he does need his own time and his own space, he's never completly alone, Bowser is his Emotional Support Maine Coon who goes with him everywhere and is keen enough to interrupt his more self-destructive habits and break downs

Relationships
Giovanni Russo [ Daddy Dom, Friend ]
Though he obtained Shane impulsively, Shane and his 'Daddy' have gotten along since day one. They are both very private people, both enjoying a bit of cuddling on the couch in front of the tv or reading a storybook or whatever Little Shane wants to do, because they both know that neither Shane nor Gio will tell anyone else about it. They can trust each other completely, can unravel and unwind together and there is just something wholesome about that, something that they both cherish. But Gio has fallen out of love with the Daddy Dom lifestyle, so he's startd distancing himself from Shane by buying the eurohound a really nice penthouse apartment downtown, where he now lives, instad of living in Gio's house. He also bought Shane a truck as a birthday present one year, so even though Gio has grown distant and quiet, he and Shane stll talk on the phone and Gio often summons him across town to his mansion to help do things- usually helping to dispose of bodies or to keep Orlando out of the way for a few hours. Even if he is not Gio's little anymore, Shane still loves the older canine like a teen might love their father so they remain in close contact, and they still have nights where Little Shane comes out to play and cuddle and such. There is an ice cream parlor around the corner and, both liking the same flavor of ice cream, they walk there often, so Shane gets a little nostalgic when it comes to ice cream.
Orlando De La Cruzz [ Younger "Brother" ]
Gio's first "little", Orlando is a troubled young man, even a blind man that he's missing screws. He's very needy, very outspoken and loud, emotionally draining with tons of energy, he and Shane could not be greater opposites. Gio often cannot keep up with the mischievous canine while also handling mob business, so Shane was originally bribed into Gio's care with the intention for him to distract Orlando. However, this fell through massively as it turns out that Shane and Orlando get along like fire and oil. Shane is quiet, private, and laid-back, where Orlando is loud, boistrous and talkative. The two butt heads constantly, Shane often needing a break for Orlando's loud boistrous antics but Orlando gets so mad at this that he can go off the deep end and has more than once tried to actually kill Shane. This, plus Gio's ridiculous schedule, is what started them down the road of separating from each other. Gio still calls Shane over from time to time, to have him keep Orlando occupied while important business is done and Shane is often willing to do such a thing because Orlando is also a little, and in their little headspace, the boys get along swimmingly, it is only as adults that they have problems with each other.
Grant Greenburgh [ Biological Father ]
Shane does not remember much about his father personally, the older dog was in and out of his life like a god damned mirage- one day he'd show up, spend the night in the house he built for his family, but then the next day he is gone and not seen or heard of for weeks, sometimes months, and eventually years. The last time Shane saw his father was before his sisters were drowned when he was about sixteen years old. Now all of a sudden, Grant is barging into his life unannounced, claiming to regret how he abandoned the family, how he let his wife go crazy (he knew that she was mentally ill but said and did nothing to help), and wanting to connect with his only living biological child. What exactly happened to cause this sudden change of heart, Shane does not know, Grant blames it on a mid-life crisis or on some time he spent in jail for Insurance Fraud and Theft. But Shane not only does not believe it, he also does not care, Grant was gone for most of his life, he did not even attend his own daughters' funeral. He never sent money or birthday cards or Christmas gifts, nothing. Then all of a sudden, he shows up and tries to be Shane's dad. The eurohound wants nothing to do with his scumbag of a father, especially as Grant has become more and more persistant, almost stalking him to harass him about how sorry he was or whatever. Shane is currently at the point of trying to obtain a restraining order.
