Cyrill

Cyrill is Derreks best friend and lover. He was caught together with him and their common friend Esmera, braught up by a fisher and sold to a scientist who conducted experiments on Derrek before his and Esmera's eyes. The men escaped, having lost Esmera on the way, and now Cyrill is left - unharmed, but feeling guilty and bereft. He knows Derrek blames himself for having gotten away while Esmera didn't, and that he sufferes from his injuries. Cyrill tries his best to help him, which makes him very protective of his once so strong friend.

Cyrill fosters a growing hatred against humans, born out of fear from what he has seen some of them do to Derrek. He knows not to act on those feelings and would never attack a human nor keep other Nymphs from helping them.
