Uraninite

HISTORY

Uraninite were an experimental cut of elite resource-gathering gems that, at the time of their implementation, were considered highly efficient. They were first created at the end of Era 1 in order to combat the rapidly depleting resources being spent on the war. Each Uraninite was given a crew of automatons to gather resources on their behalf. Uraninite would go from world to world, harvesting uninhabited worlds and converting their matter into "data pods", roughly no bigger than a garbage can. This allowed each Uraninite to plunder countless amounts of worlds before being forced to return to Homeworld to unload their material.

It should be noted that Uraninite were specifically assigned to uninhabited worlds due to their natural disposition to be extremely hot-tempered. Prototype models sent on diplomatic missions resulted in some to literally orbitally bombard the planets they were assigned to.

Uraninite, the Uraninite, was one of the last of the cut to be born, striving to be the best she possibly could be. Her early career was admirable, with her being the most efficient of what few Uraninite remained at the time. Eventually, however, she received the message that the Uraninite were being replaced in favor of more efficient resource-gathering message. This crushed her and she pulled herself off the grid, determined to show Homeworld that she was still useful, intending only to return when she had enough material to double the size of the empire she left. She spent thousands of years in isolation, her only company being her automated crew....

That is, until she finally received the first transmission she had gotten in thousands of years. Steven's message to the Universe.

WEAPONS AND ABILITIES

Sensory Abilities - In addition to her weaponry, Uraninite possesses a specialized ability that allows her to sense the makeup of all materials around her.

Dropship - The same dropship given to her when first assigned to her duty as a resource-gatherer. It has undergone extensive modification, and is considerably larger than traditional dropships to compensate for it's extensive storage bays used to store gathered resources. In addition to this, the dropship possesses the ability to tap into it's resources to produce specialized Robonoids with the ability to convert matter into highly-compact data. This allows for a Robonoid swarm to convert an entire chunk of planet into a bundle of data that can be stored in a pod roughly the size of a garbage can. It also boasts standard dropship weaponry.

Bomb Gauntlet - The last functional piece of Uraninite's limb enhancers, the Pyrokenisis Gauntlet is a dangerous piece of experimental weaponry. It has the ability to shoot a highly-explosive substance that ignites moments after making contact with most atmospheres. This can be used as both a ranged and melee attack with the help of her protective shoulder cape that shields her from any potential damage to herself.

Limb Enhancers - Due to Uraninite lacking adequate height and strength, she was given standard-issue limb enhancers, with the exception of her specialized Bomb Gauntlet. Over the millennia, without the assistance of Homeworld, these limb enhancers eventually become non-functional, leaving Uraninite with only her gauntlet.
