Design Terms of Use

SadieBear Global Rules

By buying/obtaining a design by me, you are agreeing to these rules whether you read them or not. Repeated failure to follow these rules can result in public blacklisting.

If you are ever unsure of whether your character can be resold or not, just ask me!

Design DOs

Sell the character for the price you paid + the value of art you made or paid for! I DO consider art YOU made as valuable! (ex. You paid $10 to buy "Doggo" from me. You bought a commission worth $15 and drew a piece you would sell for $40. You can now resell "Doggo" for $65 instead of $10)
Create offspring of the design via "breeding" or children as long as they are not exact copies of the parent(s).
Trade the character for artwork or another character.
Sell the character for any real life currency (ex. USD, CAD, EUR, GBP) or online currency/gift cards/memberships (dA points, Discord membership, etc)
Turn the design into a fursuit, PERSONAL prints and products, etc.
Use the character for NSFW/adult artwork (as long as the character is not meant to be a minor).
Change the character's name (if applicable) gender, species, clothing, accessories, and add/remove/change small aspects of the design.

Design DONTS

Add your own ToS to my design when trying to resell it. (ex. You cannot add special terms to the character such as forcing the new owner to sell it back to you or saying they cannot resell a character but only retrade it. All my designs are resellable and you cannot change this.)
Sell a character for ANY sort of cryptocurrency (ex. bitcoin) or as an NFT (non-fungible token).
Sell a character for MORE than you paid WITHOUT adding any sort of additional artwork of value that you made or paid for. (a 3 second MS Paint meme sketch is not valuable)
Sell a character who was gifted to you freely for real money. You MAY, however, sell them for the price of any acquired or created artwork. (ex. I gave you "Kitty" for free. You bought a commission worth $50 and drew a piece you'd value at $30 of Kitty. You can sell Kitty for $80.)
Use the character for commercial purposes.
Sell a character to ANYONE on my blacklist. (see below)
Claim the design as your own creation.
Remove the character's profile from Toyhouse and reupload it without re-crediting me.
Use the character for hateful purposes or propaganda (ex. use them for or draw them with bigoted, hateful, homophobic, racist, sexist, pedophilic, zoophilic, extremist, terrorist, etc imagery)
I would prefer if you do not sell the character to anyone who does not have a Toyhouse account but this is not a hard set rule, just a preference. Please also avoid deleting the character off Toyhouse completely if you are not closing your entire account. Contact me if you need an invite code for a friend, I have plenty!
