Yisenda was too young to remember, but she used to live in Desolation with her parents and brother. She resided in Quiharo Castle, the one and only castle below the surface. Owned by Yisenda’s parents, Valentina and Eleutherius, they are the most dangerous and wealthiest family on Aradia. Getting to this point in their lives cost more than even they realize. They had deceived and manipulated even their friends, betrayed all, especially their daughter and did not care about anything but their own survival. Now, they stand above them all, thinking they’re untouchable, unbeatable and far better than anyone else, yet all they seem to do is destroy the only good things that were in their lives. When Yisenda's parents abandoned her, she ended up in The Angel Sanctuary living with Spiralyn and her mother. The Angel Sanctuary is the name given to this small section of land, due to the angelic nature and mysterious power that can be felt in this place. Surrounding the majority of the area, is the Haloguard Mountains, which protect and conceal Safehaven Forest from outside threats that put the peace between the animals and people at risk. This is the only place where all creatures seem to get along. The reason for this remains unknown, but it is thought that a strange magic hovers in the air, a magic unlike any other.

Nowadays, she lives in a castle made from gold, which she named Yisenda’s Castle of Hope. It is the one and only castle on the surface, yet was a more recent addition to the planet. It was given to her when her parents thought it was time for her to follow in their footsteps and have a castle of her own. It is just her, her husband and her children living here, yet, unlike her parents, she constantly invites people to stay for as long as they need. Strangers and friends, lost, scared and those without a home of their own often come and go from here. Yisenda is more of a friend to all, rather than a ruler, she does, however, prefer the outdoors, so is constantly outside, travelling the world.
