About

Like all demons, Sharara was born and raised in the fiery depths of hell. However, she was snatched from her home at a young age (or at least young for a demon) with a number of others by the goddess, and was ordered to serve her in the underworld. Some demons found a lifetime of servitude depressing, whereas others relished in their assignments of torture. Sharara was the latter. She excelled at torture, and found herself fascinated by the pained expressions and screams of the mortals. They were, in her words, "cute".

Choosing to leave

Often, Sharara was paired with the irritable giant, Terik. Unlike her, he did not find satisfaction in tormenting people. But nonetheless, he accomplished the tasks assigned to him by the goddess. When possible, she took over the burden or torturing individuals for him. And instead, he would take over her more "boring" assignments. Unlike her, he was unhappy and craved freedom. So when the opportunity arose for them to make their escape, she was more hesitant. Why leave when she was happy? Why leave when it risked bringing on the wrath of the goddess?

She eventually came around and agreed to leave. Terik persuaded her with promises of playing and seeing more of her precious, cute mortals.

Relationships

Terik [ best friend ]

A giant demon who has been by her side the entire time that she's lived in the underworld. She thinks of him as family.

Onyx [ acquaintance ]

A demon who's been the goddess' obsession for quite some time. Terik and Sharara are often tasked with tending to him. She isn't particularly close to him, but on occassion has felt bad for him. It was in rescuing him that the opportunity to escape the underworld arose.

Alo [ play thing ]

A guardian of the mortal realm. She started toying with him for fun. Constantly refers to him as "my pet".
