Personality
Cadru is a cheerful teen who can make friends wherever they find themselves and they're happy to do just that until someone pays them otherwise. They're dedicted to completing their objectives and protecting their mercenary band. Their little unit has traveled the eight inhabited islands twice over, going where the coin flows as easily as blood. Cadru enjoys their travels and looks forward to new experiences. Half of their job is being the face of the group, negotiating terms, purchasing equipment, and gathering intelligence while their tempermental cousins patiently mind whatever temporary base they've found. The other half is being their eyes and guiding them towards victory. Kadru takes this very seriously and constantly worries silently over various unlikely possibilities that might put their precious cousins at risk. As combat professionals, Tash often chides Cadru that no job will ever be safe. They're the type to act and then instantly regret everything so their cousins have their hands full.
They wear brightly dyed skirts when tactically allowable and never go outside without a bandana. Cadru is the tallest cousin of their generation.

Background
The mercenary company Naria is family-owned and operated. Under the direction of their matriarch Roata, Cadru has been training since they were young. Their sharp mind earned them the responsibility of tactics, which they were happily studying until their mother came down with a serious illness. They took over her role as the guide of a three-man cell insisting that it was only temporary, but despite Cadru's certainty she passed away so they stayyed in the position. Since then they've been all sorts of exciting places accompanied by their cousins Tash and Moale who watch over them and distract them from grief.
Although Cadru's primary role is being the brains of the group, they are handy with a crossbow and can scuffle just fine in a pinch. Tash teases them saying they can't lift a broadsword. They make up for that lack of strength in agility and make an effort to stay out of melee when possible.

Tash older cousin
Cercetash is the scout of their group and Cadru's paternal cousin. She's always the first one on the scene, taking in all present information and filering it back to Cadru for processing. She never listens to Cadru off the battlefield, instead teasing them constantly like a good older cousin should.
Moale older cousin
Proud and loving, Moale used to be their tank but recently Cadru's been adjusting their tactics so he doesn't get hit as often. It's hard to do it without him noticing, but Moale would never admit that his leg has weakened to the point where it's become a liability. He's happy to distract Cadru and spoil them rotten, insisting on maintaining that illusion of invincibility. He's Cadru's mother's adopted younger brother and her death hit him hard, but he stayed strong for his baby cousin.
