He died a joyful death, in his eyes. Sure, he'd wish for the mortality back, but only really to properly interact with the world. He didn't mind the fact he was a spirit grounded to the world, in fact, he preferred it. Blue had found the lone wisp out of the grasp of either the Goddess of Death and Change, or the Goddess of the Afterlife. And after a little persuasion, they gathered fragments of Indir's former life, and pieced him together like a puzzle. The jester boy was lynched after being convinced by an opposing jester to perform magic. He did so, naively, and what paid for it was his head. But live in death as he did in life, he was still happy.
