A fierce warrior of all shades of red and a powerful fire mage.
Years of adventuring and training had proven fruitful as her prowess became a beacon of hope for the Last Humans of the world. With her might, she guided them to Spiral Mountain, her old home, after founding a way to safe all of mankind, but at the cost of mankind.
Since the beginning of mankind's destruction, fiery rage was all that was growing in her heart. Soon replaced by heartbreak, regret and anguish, she wouldn't let mankind go down without a fight against the unseen menace, the dark mage with golden eyes.
To leave a mark, she asked all Human heroes to take a last stand and leave a permanent mark on the world. For Melissa, it was leaving Spiral Mountain and her future temporarily to venture to far off lands. Returning many years later, with a hardened heart and support for any and all who were already fighting the unseen menace.

Muzo Basuki
[ Father ]
Mel's father was a peaceful man and he had the looks to match, with dark violet hair, a calm voice and tired eyes. He was a pacifist, but he knew how to draw his sword and cut his foes down. She learned how to fight from her mother, but Melissa learned of honour, nobility and keeping one's word from her father.
Regardless of what happened, Mel knows her father is proud of her and the family.
Annie Basuki
[ Mother ]
Her mother had blonde hair till she dyed it red, as a child Melissa promptly followed suit. But instead of using normal colouring like her mother, she wanted a bright red and asked Chuvie to help change her hair with magic. The result was a permanent shade of firey bright red and a stern scolding from both Melissa's and Chuvie's parents for doing so unsupervised. To this day, her hair is still extremely vibrant!
Melissa's mother was a warrior strong and true. She led her army under the direct order of the royal twins. Honourable and respected, Annie was seen as a hero having leaped countless times into the fray and deep into adventure. Growing older, her power never waned, until she just got too old. But with the sudden death of their royal monarchs, the kingdom fell into disarray due to dark magic. She and many other heroes recalled back to their homelands. That meant Melissa also had to leave Chuvie and her home behind for many years to come.
Charlie Basuki
[ Long lost sister ]
"Please... please let her be safe.. please, I'd do anything to see her, even once, just to know if she's okay... I'm so sorry... I'm so so sorry..."
Mel's baby sister was a wonderful gift to her world. She treasured her dearly and vowed to protect her until she grew of age. She'd still protect her of course! But she never got a chance to see it happen. On the way up Spiral Mountain, her childhood home, a silent avalanche overtook her party and drowned everyone they were escorting in heaps of snow. She knew her sister wouldn't survive, so she cast open a portal to put her in immediate safety. After the disaster with several injured, Mel reopened the portal only to see her sister gone without a trace. Search parties looked but to no avail, Charlie was gone and her heart was broken.
