As a beanling

Not long after Nomi showed up the house, but before Sugar had returned, Spike and Spot found themselves both unable to sleep. The two rambled back and forth about the things going on at the house, their concerns about Sugar not being able to reach the house. Worries about Cj and how he was holding up in her absence, and discussing all of the past things that they'd gotten through to get them to that point. With Nomi's appearance, the topic of wishes had come up a bit, and Spot started joking about the things she wished for the house- stability, happiness, everyone being together again. Spike, of course, had to throw in his own wishes for Sugar's return and a break from the chaos, as well as wishing that he could have some particularly good cookies that Day only makes twice a year for people. The two then continued to build more and more silly wishes for themselves and the house until their laughter and teasing finally subsided into peaceful sleep.

Unknown to the two of them, a little beanling had formed in one of Spot's planters on the windowsill. The tiny bean woke up fairly quickly to a silent room, and quickly took to exploring. Despite the sweets suddenly missing and other odd misplaced things around the house, it took almost a week before anyone really caught sight of the beanling. When Nomi bloomed, he couldn't help but come out to investigate the existence of the other beanling. After meeting Spot, he took an immediate shine to her and became her companion for much of the time he spent at the house. Seeming to have taken on quite a few traits, both in appearance and personality, from the person assumed to have made his wish, eventually Sugar named him Tack- "Because he's a little Spike!"

Blooming

Eventually Sugar was able to return to the house, and Tack latched onto her just as he had with Spot. Weeks passed with Tack getting into trouble off and on at the house until Sugar and Nomi could finally get him to behave himself somewhat. Then, when it was Spike's birthday, the beanling bloomed- almost immediately as Spike was able to take a bite of one of the cookies Day had made him for his birthday. The rest of the house hasn't quite let Spike live it down that apparently he wanted cookies so badly that he spawned a little bean fairy, honestly. He still swears it wasn't his fault.

In Prism Vale

With both beanlings having bloomed into flowerlings and their wishes fulfilled, Nomi and Tack started to consider going to Prism Vale for the first time. With the encouragement of the rest of their little family, the two travelled to the world of beanlings. Tack was torn between being overwhelmed and wanting to do everything he possibly could immediately- and it took Nomi's guidance to keep him from causing a scene on each island they moved across as they searched for a good home.

Eventually the two settled on Viridian Island due to the similarity to the forest that their wishers' house was in. As they got more settled, the two branched off in social circles due to their different personalities. After Nomi befriended Dulcette, Tack tried very hard to be a good influence on Barry... if only so that the cherry flowerling would notice him. After a while it became apparant that his crush was fated to be one-sided, and Tack found that honestly it was more fun just tagging along with Sirena's shenanigans and keeping himself going around the island. He and his sister have grown apart a bit, but they still often get together to go visit their wishers.
