Lily grew up with a pretty normal childhood. She went through school normally, and made a few friends, being closest to Jake. Lily and Jake spent a lot of time together at Jake’s parents’s gardening shop, which also sparked an interest in flowers and gardening.
...Her life changed after meeting Lopmon, her Digimon partner, and becoming a Digidestined.
She learned a few things throughout her adventure in the Digital World. She learned about her power in believing and working together with her friends, alongside learning how to love, and express herself more.
She changed the most from the journey, but most of the change didn’t happen until afterwards. After the journey, she had to say goodbye to both her sister and her partner Digimon, giving up the power of her Digivice for Lopmon to stay in her mega form, Cherubimon, to protect the Digital World. After having to say goodbye to her closest friends, she felt very lonely, especially not being able to tell Jake about what happened. Three years went by as she went through a depressive stage, becoming very sad and lonely, shutting herself out from the other Digidestined. She started also frequently having nightmares of a shadowy creature with many eyes, which didn’t help much either. As the years went by, she was starting to get used to the pain, but it still never went away...
...She stayed like this for over three years, until a new force of evil arrived...
...At the age of 12, Lily once again returned to the Digital World, finally being able to reunite with her sister again, become a lot more mentally better...However, she still had a few more nightmares, although they weren’t as frequent as they were before.
...Her life stayed the same, until the age of 15, where she ran into more forces of evil.
Many forces of evil Digimon arrived in her world, Lily and her friends defeating them. During this time, Lily finally confessed her feelings to Jake, the two officially going out as boyfrien and girlfriend. Lily went through a lot of dark thoughts at this time, but managed to get through them. Afterwards, Lily was forced to say goodbye to Lopmon yet again, upset and wondering if she’ll ever see her again. For the next few years Lily’s trauma from the past slowly healed, as she went through life normally. After graduating from high school, Lily got a job at Jake’s parent’s gardening shop, the two becoming even more closer.
At the age of 19, Lily was once again reunited with Lopmon, who was finally ready to stay in her world this time. After dealing with some more Digimon trouble, Lily was finally happy to he back with Lopmon permanently.
