Viscon's Links
Why is she so bent on getting their parents' attention by being EVIL, of all things? Why couldn't it have been good grades? Or playing the violin, or something like that? He'd very much love to just tell her in very big letters how their parents feel about them really, but he doesn't have the heart to. She's so young, and so happy with her made up image of them, and she's also a total brat. But despite that she's still Viscon's little sister and he'll fight to the last drop of blood to 1. Make her grow up into possibly the only decent person in this wretched family and 2. Protect her from all those psychopathic people this city provides. Like seriously. How many people can possibly be wishing to kill a 11 year old?!
One of her many brothers, yet the only one that actually treated her as she deserved to be treated - like a princess, with many sweets and care. Though she understands that her other brothers are busy doing various demon stuff, she's kinda sad that they didn't really pay attention to her back when she still lived with them. Even though he's been more sad recently, he still revises with her, and doesn't even care that he got... attacked by...
...Though Viscon tends to be the dumbest brother as well - trying to limit her and telling her what to do like he's her actual dad. He's not! Her dad would ..probably never treat her like that! Her dad would probably let her look into his mind. And see what happened on her own. Because no-one wants to tell her, and Viscon's sad and tired while all of her other brothers feel fine, and everyone's paying more attention to her as they SHOULD be, but... it's not right.
Why is he sad? Why can't she know?!
Well, their looks are bizzare and don't fit in with his meek, soft voice, and they once made the pavement eat Viscon's shoe, and have I mentioned THEY TRIED TO KIDNAP HIS SISTER?
How? Why? What was their drive? Why would they keep claiming they'd be a better father and that she was theirs? What in the world was he missing? Or was it all reasonless and just some twisted fantasy of an insane old man? He is very curious of the answer, but at the same time, he wishes to not know anything about that, and he just hopes the guy doesn't try hurting Maia or him again.
They're not raising their sister right. She's rude, ill-mannered and unpleasant, and he isn't doing anything to fix that, and their parents aren't. He just doesn't understand that he's not fit to raise and look after her. But Jescoe could do better. And it would be so easy, and she'd love him, an be wonderful, if he just... let her go. But he's insistent, and he's going to ruin her. He's going to make her into a monster and he can't have that. If he can just... dispose of him, then he can finally be a good dad.
...Aha.. ahaha... what??? What???? He's been working like two years already under, uh, this guy? Yes? Great. I mean, no, Solomon.. really.. er, seemed nice. Viscon is still not sure what was the deal with the sudden visit and everything, but if apparently that's what happens to every worker, as Parabit said, then maybe he really shouldn't have worried so much. ...Still, he'd rather keep his family problems to himself. Especially down under, where they can find OUT. Plus, Solomon seemed awfully powerful, but also had an.. air of.. er.. naivety.. to him? Maybe that's just because of the way he talked. ..And because of how apparently he's.. a real big fan of Bafalaut. That last bit of their conversation.. was really worrying. ..Viscon hopes that, despite everything, he WILL manage to quit his job in time and wil NOT upset Solomon too much with it. The guy.. probably guy seemed really great, and being scared of getting torn apart by his telekinesis aside, he just doesn't wanna worry the giant many-eyed orb+cloth creature. He probably has a lot on his mind already.
Viscon Little Viscon don't run away no no you are good you show much! Promise! Can be better, stronger, can do much more very much here! If you are not happy, he can fix, can fix up can change can help! Little Viscon you are smart, yes, but young! Very young, so baby much of a child! But Solomon can help, yes yes! Give him chance, give him time! You are worker, yes, worker very busy special worker under him! And he knows yes he? Appreciates that?? But please just please give a chance give one! It may be a wonderful, beautiful, most very whimsical world of demons yes, but no scare do not scared! He can show! Open? Your eyes? To greatness!!
Oh boy. That sure is his mom. Her and Maia are eerily similar, both in appearances and in personality, it's worrying, very much so. But well, yeah. Viscon... hates the bitch. She murdered their father, solely to show she was the stronger one. First of all, she left Sanajo, too. And then it was Viscon who had to man up and deal with three younger siblings having no idea what to do with themselves, because why would mom care for that ever? She was too busy with the olders, going through their teenage rebellion stage, training them to be merciless suit'd up smugass demon deal-makers, like their species didn't have enough trouble already with the whole 'bad image' thing. And, oh yeah, she paid attention to him, too. "Is that right, that girl will get hit by a car?" Thud. "..I'm so proud of you, honey!" What kiNDA FUCKED UP FAMILY IS T H I S
...He hates that he can't act up. She'd done this to him, and he can't do anything but suck it up and obey. He just wants to curl up and cry everytime he sees her.
He's back! Finally!! Her little baby~ Needed a little encouragement, but look at him now. Like, he certainly holds potential, and he's the more sensitive one out of the boys, so like, he could POSSIBLY be doing the "leading" thing with Maia. They have a good bond too - and bonds are very important. Plus, you know how many people would pay to know when and how they're gonna die? Do you know how many would KILL to prevent that? And he, with just a little bit of effort, he could MAKE them pay, AND kill! The family is THRILLED to have him back, and maybe he could even get Newi an audience with Grandma! He's just gotta cheer the fuck up. He wasn't even USING that wing.
H... he's... he's DEAD. He saw his corpse. Maia did not recognise him, it was so heavily mutilated. But it must've been him. He's dead. Why? What was the point? Oh, well, whatever. His father let him know loud and clear anyway that Viscon was not wanted anywhere near him. Hung him by the horns on that tree full of corpses of monsters, to let Vis know where his place was. He.. he really wanted to help Sanajo, if dad asked him to kill off his own brothers, he would! No problem! But apparently that was not enough. Well. Maybe it's for the better, maybe it's all for the better. Now, just how is he gonna tell Maia that that body was their father's...?
...Viscon showed a lot of potential when he was a child. He was probably the only one of his sons that listened so intently when Sanajo explained all those boring tricks and toys for killing to them. When Viscon, rather recently too, came to him and asked if he could join Sanajo in monster hunting, he was sure it was some sort of a lure, perhaps set up by Newi. But, those few years later, when his children came to slaughter him like he did countless creatures of their kind, Viscon was not among them. Perhaps he was with Newi. Perhaps. Or perhaps Sanajo was wrong about him..
What's up with Solomon? What's up with THIS guy? "Your family doesn't define who you are!" "You should choose your own path." "You probably have a happy life, stop whining." FfffffuCK OFF! Yeah, maybe you died... bloodied.. and.. apparently.. swinging down from something, which honestly does not sound like a great experience, but, from what Vis heard, the guy is soulless now, free from all that bother of 'actually, like, being terrified'? Hhaa... well.. at least he wasn't like, rude about all that. As in, not too much. But he also hopes he will never have to experience those 'demon traps' on his own skin. God. God, he's in trouble.
Talk about a whiny creature. You have a future and a good solid path of your own offered to you on a silver plate, yet let bonds with family dictate whether the path should be taken or not. Honest to the gods, the bat's behavior makes his blood boil. It's like a painful reminder how submissive he was himself and depended on family and their approval. Just man up and make your own decisions already before you get fucked over.
..Does that really need explanation? The guy tried to make a hole right through Maia, for fuck's sake!! He's.. scary! Awfully so! Of COURSE that guy's also powerful, cause, like, why wouldn't he be, just make things worse for everyone. Powerful and clearly unstable. And of course Maia just.. had.. to go after him. Why. Why not.
...while Viscon is terrified of the guy, he also wishes for a chance to jab his fingers into his eyes and maybe heabutt his guts again. Not just for Maia, but also because.. it.. it doesn't feel nice, having to run from a fight with your tail between your legs, even if it's with an overpowered psycho like that one.
Oh yeah, this is the fuck that headbutted him and dragged that shitty kid away from their just-desserts! And, fuck, that HURT. This shitty bat didn't do much, maybe existed within his field of vision for a few seconds, but that was enough to make Ezekiel hate him. Was he working with the boar? Was he trying to stop him from seeing his Best Friend? Well, whatever. If he messes with him again, he'll just have to take it out on his shitty kid instead. And then take it out on his face. And then his parents. And then actually murder him. If he sees him again, ESPECIALLY around CB, Ezekiel is going to show him something he won't ever forget.
Their ancestor. That much he knows. His entire family pretty much lives in that tiny realm they own, like in a big cosy house. Well - ok, it's more like a meeting hub, like a mansion for family gatherings every now and then when different branches of their family aren't busy spreading influences over other realms.
Viscon can't say he's ever seen him, though. Honestly, not even sure he's alive.
....He's a simple demon dad. He's got two bloodlines he can call himself an ancestor of - and his favourites aren't the bats, and he's the slightest bit disappointed it's THEM that are more connected to his realm than the hedgecats.
But his lady has a weird liking for this particular bat. She likes them all, since they were made more in her image after all, but she feels this one's special, and he can't help but sometimes observe Viscon and wonder what she means. Just like his mom, he's got vision powers, and just like all Dakon's children, he has black blood and a drive to achieve whatever he desires to.
...But his desires do seem to differ from most of the bats' ones.
She's uh
A bat like them.
...
That's about the extent of his knowledge here.
(what is her personality)
Another victim of his sister's judgemental yapping. But, for once, he'd managed to not only apologise for it, but... also er, possibly, make a friend? Perhaps it's a jump for him to assume so, but... Rag's pleasant to talk to, even if she's incredibly nervous. They've already met a few times, so hopefully with some luck they... could.. perhaps.. keep it up, and just... hang out every once in a while. Vis wouldn't mind that.
WHY IS SHE ATTRACTING ALL OF THESE WEIRD SUPERNATURAL PEOPLE. Why are her friends ghosts and demons! She doesn't have the capacity to deal with demon realms and death oh god what HAPPENED to him?!
Ragnilde genuinely enjoys spending time with Viscon! He's quiet, but also smart and understanding. He's approachable and they've had some nice conversations, and they have a lot of similarities! His sister is loud-mouthed and scary, but she also deals with that all the time in the mall, so nothing new there. She can tell Vis is trying his best.
But something happened to him. Something that sent him with horrible wounds to hospital - something which he knows a lot about but doesn't want to share. She's concerned - DEEPLY concerned! ...But a small part of her is selfish, and wished he didnt involve her in this mess. She has her own demons to tackle, but she's pulling her hair out knowing that she'll be tackling his too.
Her dad has always been fascinated by demon culture, and he'd probably love him. She... just wishes Vis was a bit more normal, for her sake, and especially his sake.
....also are ALL his siblings freaky?
Should he be concerned about childish young women cyborgs just casually standing in the streets, or amazed at technology? Cause that... that just feels like some fucked up anime fan's dream come true.
Uh, she was, er, nice, though...? For a... robot? Is that right? ...er, would talk again, 7/10.
Rag's... dead... friend...?
...
Yeah, that sounds about right. Rag's dead friend that Vis encountered a total of... once, and never again. Still though, they uh... seemed pleasant, and very curious about Vis's genetic make-up, despite being an oddity themselves. Their death also seemed... painful... although vaguely hazy, so maybe good for them, the poor sod... 7/10, definitely not another cause of Vis's constantly increasing paranoia related to Solomon and mom and the likes constantly watching Vis's every step.
Right?
