About

Originally a very well revered and talented chef in his past life, Bertram was set up and accused of poisoning a political officer and was beheaded for his crimes. He would have very much liked to have stayed dead and was happy to remain in the ground until some teenagers performed a seance and accidentally brought him back to life. Full of rage due to his cruel and sudden death, the newly awoken Bertram went on a rampage and haunted high class restaurants until Gobi met him one day and gave him a purpose and reason to live. Bertram is well known for his fiery temper and extremely strict demeanour. He is extremely blunt and has a lot of controversial methods in cooking but at the end of the day no one questions what he does because all of his food turns out great! Nowadays he is rarely seen outside of the bathhouse's kitchen as he is constantly working 24/7. The others worry he will become a shut-in and that his body will fall apart due to the stress of work and maintaining his mega evolution form, but can't do much to stop him as it seems that working nonstop is the only joy he truly experiences in life. That and smoking 20 packs of cigs a day. He seems to try and avoid drama and doesn't seem to enjoy listening to what a lot of teammates have to say but deep down he has shown to care for his fellow teammates and friends. Bertram shows his affection usually by grunting and giving you chopped fruit or making sure you've eaten that day. He cares! In his.. own way.

Trivia

• An amazing cook but due to his new body cannot eat any of his food or taste it. He curses whatever higher power did this to him.
• Does not allow Gobi into the kitchen as Gobi is an awful cook.
• Like Norman he can reattach and detach parts of his body with ease. He actually loses a lot of body limbs when he works and rarely realizes cause he's so busy.
• Very smart, that added with his sharp tongue is what scares a lot of the others.You can't win in an argument with him.
• Is actually happily married and has a stable relationship. The others are shocked as to how he out of all people managed to do so. He loves his husband very much and is willing to let his guard down around him.
• Similarly to Huojin, Bertram has a makeshift body, but he is more of a huge doll than a scarecrow like Huojin.
• Refuses to stop his mega evolution and because of this his body and mind suffers and deterioate for it.
• HATES relaxing. Bertram is very much an workaholic and needs to be doing something 24/7.
• Is against human/Pokemon relationships. He personally finds it really weird and dislikes when Norman or others bring it up but respects their opinions.

Norman [ Best Friend ]

Huojin was the second Pokemon to be introducted to the team, so it was no surprise he and Norman became close friends, they were the first two! The two have a great friendship and confide in each other often. Norman does moreso but Huojin doesn't seem to mind. Despite Norman's weird nsfw conversations Huojin admires Norman's love for Gobi and hopes his friend finds true love eventually.

Gobi [ Close Friend ]

Huojin deeply respects Gobi and is forever grateful to him. He admires how strong his trainer is and how much he sacrifices for his Pokemon. He dislikes when Gobi acts slobbish and lazy but lets it go as Huojin knows his trainer's true personality. He wishes Gobi wouldn't leave his underwear everywhere though.

Imhotep [ Close Friend??! ]

Imhotep?? and Huojin?? Friends? As crazy as it sounds, the two have a rich and complicated friendship together. Huojin wishes Imhotep would stop bullying him all the time, but he understands better than anyone what Imhotep has gone through and knows Imhotep better than anybody else in the world. Even if Imhotep might never admit it, Huojin considers Imhotep a close friend and knows that deep down he has the potential to be good. Deep, deep down.
