Summary

Silencer is a strange creature; a strange mix between a sentient being, a computer, and black and white holes. They shapeshifter with no true species, and they've got a mind that can think with the precision of a computer, but they're prone to literally glitching out, becoming corrupted, and going rouge. Despite this glaring flaw, Silencer is otherwise a master spy, able to create any gadget or just about anything else they might need simply by creating the object with their paintball gun.

Personality

Silencer is rather quiet and seems to be in their own head most of the time, only caring to interact with people that interest them. Even then, they're quite socially awkward unless the person in question is someone related to their mission, in which case they quickly become suave and meticulous once their communication 'programming' activates. Due to their past, Silencer is somewhat aimless, not really sure of who they are or what they want. Though describing them as devious would be a bit extreme, Silencer takes joy in being prolifically mischievous to those they don't like.

Backstory

Silencer was a project created by the US government near the end of WWII, who was supposed to be used to spy on Russia. Due to the inability to fix Silencer's corruption glitch, they never went into service, and instead was repurposed as a training tool for other agents, where they gained the nickname "The Silencer," for their creepily silent demeanor. As the Cold War drew on, Silencer's use as a training tool diminished, and they were silently stored away.

In the 1990's, Silencer mysteriously awoke after being dormant for over 30 years, and though the information within the room they occupied was sparse, it was enough to allow Silencer to escape.

Once escaped, Silencer was greeted to an entirely new world that had transformed completely since the 60's, and they wanted to understand it. Of course, this was easier said than done, as the US government still considered Silencer a piece of highly classified technology, and the risk of their existence being discovered and exploited meant that recapturing Silencer was top priority.

Though Silencer was initially angry at how the country they were created to be loyal to was treating them, and wanted nothing more than to lay low, they began to see it as somewhat of a game, juggling learning about what the world has become, breaking in and stealing yet more government secrets, and then threatening to leak the information to the world if the US doesn't give up their pursuit. Of course, with Silencer both being and in possession of such valuable information, they quickly learned that backing down wasn't an option for the government, and that they found a particular kind of thrill out of leading the humiliating and never-ending chase.

Silencer has no true loyalty to anyone, though it's not uncommon for them to infiltrate the ranks of other countries' organizations, accept a mission just for the thrill of it, then leave just as soon as they arrived, to wander or settle down until the next interesting thing pops up. Silencer would describe their actions as a search for purpose in their life, but because they were programmed to be a spy, and they've known nothing outside that life until now, Silencer considers it their calling and struggles to find an identity outside of it.

Abilities

Silencer is essentially a living black and white hole, with the ability to control what and how much material they absorb or release. This makes Silencer an absurdly powerful master of physics, able to do things such as:

• construct any object they want out of atoms stored in their own body
• collapse those objects into pure atoms and store them within their body
• see in all forms of light
• shapeshift
• sense things that humans or animals can't
• move completely silently
• not need food, water, sleep, or air
• scale walls and ceilings
• calculate math and physics instantly
• identify chemicals, elements, compounds instantly, and know how to rearrange them into different objects and forms

Weaknesses

• Their body has to maintain a very narrow range of matter within it,  meaning that they are constantly releasing and absorbing atoms. Too much  matter and they'll grow too large and destroy everything around them with their gravity; too little matter and they'll dissolve into nothingness. Silencer has one failsafe against absorbing too much or too little matter called corrupting, but it greatly increases the chances of them compromising their loyalties. When Silencer gets corrupted, the color of their fur inverts and they begin to either absorb or releasevast quantities of information, including sensitive info that could potentially be leaked to enemies, or absorbing information that convinces them to become an ally to their enemies
• If Silencer doesn't have access to any elements, componds, etc. they need to create a certain object either in or around them, they can't create the object
• Though Silencer can store objects in their body, if the object is stored too long it will be ripped apart into pure atoms. If Silencer has not memorized how most of the atoms of the object were arranged, they will not be able to accurately recreate it
