Pharis and Lilli met when Lilli was exploring the forest local to her university halls and she stumbled across Pharis’s treehouse. After a bit of trepidation on both of their parts, they slowly began the process of becoming friends. Lilli likes Pharis’s calm and peaceful nature, though she does find him hard to relate to at times, especially when his plant obsession comes to the forefront. Much like a houseplant though, she’s keen on making sure that he has the right conditions to flourish.
Having met him during the first few weeks of Uni when he asked her for help with the timetables, Dmi has been an infatuation for Lilli from the first moment she set eyes on him. She’s thrilled to be his girlfriend and tries to make sure he spends most of his free time with her. The only downside is that she wishes that he had more free time (though she understands that he’s busy often because of his work) and the fact that her parents wouldn’t be the most pleased to find out that their daughter is dating a Ministry boy…
Lilli absolutely loves her father and still gets teased by her friends for referring to him as ‘Daddy’ still. She will often go to visit him and her mother when on break from her studies, if only for the enjoyment of being spoiled whenever she’s home. She encourages him to bake for her all the time and believes that’s he’s the best cook in the world. While she feels close enough to tease him about various things (like his looks or fashion), she still has some reservations about talking to him about the adult side of her life, as she feels like he wants to maintain the illusion of her being his precious daughter for as long as he can.
Host loves his daughter dearly and was heartbroken when Sofi left her under family care without his knowledge of her whereabouts. Though he's usually grumpy and brooding, Lilli can still bring a smile to his face. He enjoys cooking her favorite treats and is always overly concerned that she stays away from boys. Host feels the need to protect Lilli so that she doesn't get taken advantage of.
Miles came into Lilli’s life when she found him and Pharis outside in the cold and invited them back to hers to live. She’s often making sure that Miles is well scrubbed and in warm clothing, partly for his own sake and partly because she loves how soft he feels when he’s freshly clean. She enjoys spending days wrapped up in a blanket and watching TV with him, though she feels a bit anxious about either telling Dmi about the fact he (and Pharis) live with her or the possibility of moving in with Dmi and leaving Miles out in the cold again.
Miles has a soft spot for Lilli. He became enamored with her bubbly personality, her kindness and that she never looked down on him. Lilli offered her apartment to Miles and the two shared a first kiss together. He is jealous and resentful of Lilli's boyfriend, feeling inadequate compared to him.
Lilli met Ripley through Dmi when they started dating and the two soon became friends themselves. She likes Ripley’s sense of humour and will jokingly flirt with him from time to time, though they both would never do anything to hurt Dmi. She doesn’t really understand the obsession with working out and being fit (that sounds like effort) but she certainly enjoys the benefits of being able to eye his buff physique.
Ripley is friendly towards Lilli, as he often sees her tagging along with Dmi. He isn't put off by her mannerisms and finds her to be funny in comparison to Dmi's deadpan personality. He can be a bit clueless when the two of need privacy.
While Lilli does love her mother deeply, there is always an undercurrent of distance between them, as Lilli hasn’t forgotten that it was Sofi who took her away from a normal family life and left her with her grandfather for a time. She does, however, trust her mother more with discussions about her boyfriend and study life, if just because it seems impossible to keep anything from Sofi’s apparently all seeing, all knowing self. She’s happy that her parents are back together and the three of them have returned to a far more normal family life.
Lilli and Lizzy first met at the freshers fair when they both started university and quickly became fast friends, bonding over their joint love of cute things and smutty erotica. Lilli relies on Lizzy as someone she can express herself openly to without the judgement that might come from her parents when discussing her more unusual interests. Lilli is often the more exuberant of the two and encourages Lizzy to try more things outside of her comfort zone, though this often ends up with them getting into mischief.
Lizzy and Lilli get along like two peas in a pod – they both enjoy frilly fashion, handsome boys (and girls in Lizzy’s case) and have a lurking desire for the more sensual things in life hidden underneath their innocent exterior. While they don’t get to spend as much time together as they’d like (due to Lizzy’s family/monarch commitments), they often text and catch up when they can, providing moral support and humour to all situations. Lizzy is the more sensible and down the earth one of the pair, often reigning in Lilli’s more questionable ideas and keeping the two out of any serious trouble.
Attus is the forbidden, unobtainable fruit of Lilli’s desires. He’s a combination of all of her (supposed) deep desires – a capable and powerful dragon who can use magic and is handsome in his human form to boot. The only problem is that he is not interested in her in the slightest, much to her shock and confusion. His personality? Irrelevant as far as she’s concerned, but if she had to characterise him, she’d call him a prude, a big stick in the mud and certainly in denial about his lack of attraction to her.
Attus tires of Lilli's constant romantic pursuit of him. He's let her down easy several times but it doesn't seem to go through so now he just finds himself yelling "YOU'RE NOT MY TYPE". With this (sometimes) mutual understanding, he will still tolerate Lilli hanging out with him. He finds her annoyingly shallow, only being attracted to him because he's a dragon and frustrated because she doesn't want to use her magic or learn from him.
