The Spirit Of Halloween

The Spirit Of Halloween is a young deity who only surfaced somewhere in the 1600's. 

It is the embodiment of the glee after the scare. The adrenaline before the storm. It thrives with the spooky stories you share with friends underneath the moonlight, the mischievous energy in hiding before scaring someone and.. the hyping up of your friends to go into a spooky environment together. 

The Spirit Of Halloween can shift and morph into whatever it desires to create a pleasant scare, but never confronts its victims with its appearance. It will use its abilities to shape a ghoulish shadow or a mysterious figure you juuust can't make the details out of. 

It is strongest and the most mischievous on Halloween night, but after all the candy has been eaten and the darting eyes ease into slumber, it too, goes to sleep. And it will sleep all the way through the winter, its dreams still reaching those with a watchful eye with twigs tapping on the window and shuffling from an unknown source. When it awakens again in spring it will retreat to the farm lands, blessing farmers with bountiful crops in hopes of making the next Halloween as joyful as the previous
