Adalene

Being born into a noble family of knights serving the royal family, Adalene was strictly raised to be a proper lady of regal sophistication; however it also entailed that she should keep secret any of her personal and childish desires. Her family had high expectations of her as she was gifted with powerful flame magic even at such a young age. Thus she is always reserved and conscious of her words and actions no matter how effortless or natural it seemed. She persevered in the art of fencing till she was skilled enough to wield the heirloom of her family, the "Thorns of Divine Providence", dual rapiers that were given to her after her coming of age.

Underneath her seemingly perfect persona is a hot-headed young girl who has a penchant for items or people she finds cute; though her tastes are usually oddly bizarre for most. She has a strong fondness for gothic ragdolls and flowers, unfortunately she isn't really good with plants as she was always told her hands are too hot to handle them.

She is currently enrolled in a prestigious academy for knighthood to complete her formal training. Once completed, she would become the knight of the crown princess of the royal family. And just like her family, both students and teachers alike hold her in high regard due to her impressive skill and intelligence in the art of fighting and warfare. However there is but one student who doesn't feel the same way. A young black-haired colt who donned deep violet clothing challenged her to a duel with their pride at stake. To no one's surprise Adalene came out as the victor. Ever since that meeting the young colt kept challenging her until he could finally defeat her.

A noble Areques who came from another kingdom as a transfer student. Luthe is the only student in the academy who found it in himself to callously challenge Adalene. He underestimated her for being a girl and for having a small and petite figure. Despite his disgraceful defeat by her hand, she admired his determination since he swore to defeat her someday. Every day she sees him train hard to work his way up the academy rankings. Because of how he would usually miss out on dinner, she would anonymously leave food and confectionery in his room.

A legacy dedicated in wiping out humanity, which clashes with that of hers and her family who have sworn to protect the humans they serve. Information about this enemy kingdom's prince only trickle in small quantities, but it is known that the prince is just as powerful as his predecessors if not more. Adalene couldn't help but have a premonition that she may one day have to face him in the battlefield.
