Heraim Benvo is a low Qhobarian noble serving as a confidant and spymaster under Hammerthane Onic Moonhewer I. He is currently squiring Onic's daughter Einris Moonhewer while she travels with the adventuring party. He made his debut as a minor NPC during the Rebellion arc of the game, but became a permanent party member during the arc's finale. Heraim's combat prowess is mostly unknown, and he has not been shown to use any weapons, though it has been implied he owns at least a dagger. He tends to hang behind or even flee during battle. When the party wanders off during the day, he tends to stay behind and monitor their encampment or explore the towns they're staying in and gather information. He usually serves as a mediator between the party members and each other and the NPCs they encounter should conflicts arise.
Heraim is a very slim, fairly average-height dwarf, though he tends to augment his height with high heels, so his true height is much shorter than most people are used to. For a dwarf, Heraim is much more lean and has slightly longer, slimmer features than others of his kind. He has long, blonde hair with bangs and a stubbly but clean blonde beard that covers his cheeks and chin which he all keeps very well-maintained, trimming himself if need be. Heraim's eyes are a bright blue color, and he has never appeared without makeup, the most common of this being his signature green mascara. Because of his frequent makeup usage, his face is always clean and well taken care of, though he has slight aging apparent around his eyes.
Heraim's clothing is bold and very attention-drawing. Because of his mastery as a tailor, he frequently experiments with new trends and only wears clothing he has made for himself. His ensemble always features a dark, tyrian pink color in some capacity. He dresses for aesthetics, and disregards wether or not his clothing is practical or not, though clothing he makes for others is usually very functional as well as fashionable. His current outfit features an open-breasted black shirt with very wide, puffy sleeves and a tall white collar. He wears long white gloves with the thumb and forefinger cut out, presumably for function. He wears a deep pink, wide collared tunic over his shirt with wide gold trim along the bottom. Around his waist he accents his upper body with a purple and gold cummerbund which sits overtop both his tunic and the shirt beneath it. He wears pointy-toed, white, thigh-high stiletto boots that have gold trim along the top edge. His pants are tight and a light grey color, though due to his boots it is unclear how long they are. Over top of his outfit, he often wears a dark, detachable shoulder cape that is lined with beige fur that clips to his collar with a large gold clasp in the front, and a more discreet one in the back.
Heraim is a generally very genial man, and is very easy for most everyone to get along with. He easily meshes with many different social circles and has shown a tendency to get along with every member of the current traveling party, making an active effort to seek them out and bond with them outside of Einris. He has proven himself to be a very patient individual, allowing the young party some level of antics, though he appears to get frustrated at some minor inconveniences. Though he acts very maturely, he is far from being stuffy and will happily indulge some jokes and light pranks and is very good at delivering a tasteful joke to lighten the mood even in an incredibly dark situation. He is very conscious of his appearance, and vehemently rejects partaking in situations that would sully his appearance, wether physically or socially. He lacks many stereotypically dwarven personality traits, and most notably prefers to not drink when possible. Heraim is incredibly social, and is very rarely if ever seen entirely alone, either enjoying the company of a large group of people, or interacting one-on-one with someone away from a crowd. He has shown a penchant for extreme levels of vanity, meticulously maintaining his appearance and applying makeup daily even if he expects to do nothing that would require him to be seen by others. Though he has a very keen ability to mask his emotions, often to where his true feelings are entirely unknown unless he wants you to know them, he openly expresses disdain towards those he deems unsavory for any reason. The most likely cause that earns his distaste seems to be poor fashion or hygiene, and though he does not seem to carry the extreme levels of classism some nobles display, his time among aristocracy seems to have affected his viewpoints, though the extend of which and wether it expands beyond just attire is not fully known. Both PCs and NPCs have made allusions to the fact that Heraim's prescience can be slightly unnerving for various reasons. He is seldom forthcoming with his intentions, though he very often pretends that he is, and is a very skilled deceiver. Though he tends to avoid and flee battle, he has made motions and allusions to the fact that he is far deadlier than he appears to be, and that his delicate exterior is both an expression of himself while simultaneously being a method for disarming others. Heraim is deeply and very skillfully manipulative, and uses subtle influential tactics to pry information from others and convince them to reveal secrets to him. He has no moral qualms with killing, but avoids it directly and will often try to orchestrate the circumstances of one's death rather than carry out the task himself whenever possible. Despite a general confidence in his appearance and an outward personality that most people find very endearing, he has a tendency to become obsessed if he learns of someone disliking him, and will begin to compulsively do everything he can to gain their affirmation. Heraim is a very licentious individual, and will frequently makes both overt and underhanded sexual advances towards those around him, male and female.
