A dashing, confident, all-star fay-- at least on the surface. Simon was at the same revelation ceremony as Cassie, though no one made a mistake of misinterpreting the blazing gold symbol denoting his alignment to the Sun. It is regarded as the strongest of the three that have not been seen in centuries, and that only appear before a devastating catastrophe. Given that he is the heir to a lineage of prominent fay mages, Simon's family was ecstatic upon learning of his rare alignment, and was thus put to private training under his father. Although he enjoyed and had a natural affinity to combat, he dreaded his responsibilites.

Several years went by and nothing happened-- The world remained at peace, and its leaders announced a false alarm. Training the entire time to uphold his family name in battle, Simon had missed his academics and was years behind his peers. Just before enrolling he was tracked down by Himik, an organization looking for a way to prevent the still-imminent catastrophe. Simon joined them, happy to avoid academics and put his training to good use, but feeling pressured to once more strive for legendary status.
