Likes

Dislikes
- Causing unnecessary pain (that's why he doesn't like the sadistic side of Valdiv)
- Too many people around him
He lives in a hut at the edge of his town in the Frozen Lands and doesn't have any close friend. Valkäre loves calm but also enjoys the warmth of a tavern. He's usually not very talkative, especially with strangers, but after some beers he gets a lot more cheerful. No matter how unfriendly or grumpy he may look, he's helpful.
However, despite being very patient when working alone, he can quickly grow impatient with other people.
He's not fond of Valéïs who live in cities and slightly despises them because he find them weak, "they couldn't survive in nature, they are hauty and blablabla..."
About
Background/species info
- Valéïs, plural of Valéï, are a closed species created by my friend Dagyne. Their name must start with "Val" (great source of puns), which is also the name of their Creator.
- The species and their world development is on hiatus and there are old things that will probably change or that I won't put here to avoid confusion.
- They become adult at 25 years old, can live up to 200, and start showing signs of aging at 150 years old.
- There's no sexual dimorphism between males, females, hermaphrodites and sexless.
- They don't have arms, instead they use telekinesis. The power varies among individuals, but they can train to become more powerful. Valéïs can't use telekinesis on things they cannot see, except routine things that humans can do without watching (like bringing your mug of coffee to your mouth while reading the newspaper)
- They have from 0 to 3 eyes, in ascending order of rarity : 2 > 3 > 1 > 0. Valéïs can also have some mutations, like a vertical eye, a snout, and slime instead of neck fur.
- There are 5 "types" of Valéïs : Occidental/urban, Tropical, Polar, Celestial and Oriental. (This is subject to change)
- They have markings on their face and legs, usually only one and it's uncommon to have markings on both legs.
- They have 14 other gods, and 6 guardians of the 5 senses (+ divination), who all actually live in their world, and rule the 15 existing countries.
Trivia
- He would love karaoke if he tried it
- He has two mutations: a vertical eye (a mutation that only Valéïs with an odd number of eyes can get), and a snout.
- I was watching the series Vikings when designing him and it probably shows
- He's actually quite romantic with his partners, and very attentive.

Relations
Valdiv [ It's complicated ]
Someday he met Valdiv, high-ranking military officer from the Pays du Toucher (the context varies since I love to re-imagine this scene) and at first they hated each other. Now it's complicated. They like each other a lot, but there are too many traits they don't like (they don't share the same vision of life) about each other for them to be dating in a normal way. Maybe friends with benefits?
Valuminium [ Acquaintance, the village chief ]
She's the Muse of Metal, a sort of deity. They get along well. Being a bit too serious, Valkäre is an easy target for Valuminium, who likes teasing him with second degree humour. But it doesn't really bother him, she's still nice, a good leader and can also be serious.
