About
Glade's an ranger's apprentice. She's a cheerful and curious person. She became a ranger's apprentice, because she wanted to be just like her brother, Aydan. She's an amazing archer and excellent spy. She's good at camouflage and she can easily fight using her knives. She really admires her friends and her family. She has got a horse, Night (see tab) she cares about a lot.

Personality
Glade smiles a lot and is a really cheerful person. She likes playing jokes on her friends and she usually helps Tace with her "tricks" - they both really enjoy annoying Avery, what makes Av furious. Glade always takes care of her friends and she can't stand being useless. She has high ambitious and she always tries to do her best. She can be sometimes really jealous of her brother. She really cares about what other thinks about her and she always wants to be praised. She always aims high, even if she hasn't got enough abilities. She used not to care about details, but when she and her brother were almost killed, she decided to change it. She started overthinking all her decisions and became really hesitant person. Still, when it comes to fight, she can be really reckless.
She loves rangers and their job, especially archery and sneaking, but she just hates learning things like history or making maps. Theoretical lessons makes her sick. Like most rangers she is really inquisitive, almost nosy. She always wants to know everything about everyone. If she doesn't understand something, she can spend whole day thinking about it. She's quite intelligent, but she doubts in herself.

Telly: Love Interest
Time known each other: Since childhoodThey are really really close friends from childhood. Glade had always treated him little like a baby and thought he was cute. They even lived with each other for six months. She visits him and Avery regularly. She treated him like her younger brother until Tace told her that it was oblivious that he had got big crush on her. Since then she started to feel a little uncomfortable in his company and she observed him carefully. She noticed that he is not the same child. He changed a lot - he gained more courage, he was still a silent type though, he became stronger (although he still can't beat her). She started to think of him as a man and started developing feelings for him. Then, she started feeling a little embarrassed around him and stopped hugging him whenever she sees him. Telly thought he did something wrong and made her mad, but she quickly denied it.
Aydan: Brother
Time known each other: All lifeAy's her brother. They are really close, but they're usually arguing. Aydan treats Glade like a child, what annoys her. She really wants Aydan to be proud of her, she became a ranger's apprentice only because she wanted to be like him. First, after Reunion, they were mad at each other, but now they act like nothing has happened over all this years. They love each other so much and they would die to protect the other one.
Her parents
Time known each other: All lifeGlade is pretty close with her mom, but she doesn't get along with her father. After running away from home, she had had no courage to come back, before her last year of being a ranger's apprentice - they both knew she was alive from Aydan, but they didn't see her for so many years. She made up with her mom, but her dad couldn't forgive her everything she has done. They still aren't on a good terms.
Tace: Best Friend
Time known each other: 2 yearsGlade's Tace's close friend and "partner in crime". They both like playing jokes on other people (especially Avery), so they really fast found a common ground. Even if Tace is much older than Glade, she treats her as her equal. They often fight together against enemies. Tace's a hunter, so she informs Glade whenever some dangerous animal appear in forest. Tace often teases Glade about her crush on Telly and she tries to be a matchmaker for the two.
Avery: Good friend
Time known each other: 10 yearsFirst, Glade was little scared of Avery, but who wouldn't? Telly jokingly told her that Av is a real devil, but this devil's is not as black as she is painted. When Glade got to know Avery better, she started treating her like older sister. She always calls her "aunt Av". Avery helped Glade a lot with becoming a ranger's apprentice and in fact, Glade was her temporary apprentice. She's very thankful to her. Glade visits her regularly. Although they are on friendly terms, Glade is still little afraid of her, when she gets angry, what happens often, since Glade and Tace just can't resist teasing her.
Angie: Not so good friend
Time known each other: 5 yearsThey argue really often. They hate each other - Glade hates Angie because she execrate people, who can't fight and are only burdens to their companions and because she thinks Angie is too snooty and she doesn't know, why her brother likes girl, who only cares about her appearance, while Angie hates Glade, because she thinks Glade always tries to act like a hero and she can't stand that Glade is treating her like someone worse than her only because she is useless on battlefield. Angie can't understand, why Glade is acting like a boy, likes things that boys like, dresses like a boy and she has doubts that Glade is straight. Aydan sometimes says that they act like Glade was Angie's mother-in-law.
Backstory
Her father is the owner of the inn and her mother helps him with all his duties. When she was young, they both hoped that she will help them with the inn as well, but she never liked this stinky place filled with drunk farmers. She was a type of girl, who always plays with boys and does boyish stuffs with them. Every day, when she had to go to bed, she was asking her mom to tell her a story about her uncle, who was a ranger. However she never had chance to get to know him, since he was deceased on one of his mission, when she was still a little baby. She really enjoyed stories about his bravery and dangerous missions and he is some kind of hero she looked up to.
However, she decided to become a ranger, when her brother did. (It was something about 10 years after Maddie became a ranger's apprentice and in my AU female rangers weren't something unusual, but they weren't too common, too and most people treated them like witches) Her parents were triggered, when they heard that, especially her father, who had a lot of unfortunate memories with rangers in the main role. His brother also wasn't fond of this idea, too worried about his little sister getting hurt.
The only person, who believed in her was her best friend, Telly and Avery. Avery had always thought that she'd make a great ranger. They made a deal - Glade had to help Avery with her job for half a year and then, if she recognize her talents, she would introduce her to a her familiar ranger, who may consider making her his apprentice.
To fulfill her dreams, Glade ran away from home after a long and exhausting argument - she knew her parents would never let her stay with Avery, who didn't have a good reputation among locals. In fact, they didn't even know they known each other. She did it with a heavy heart, but she knew, that if she stayed, she would always be just a daughter of an inn owner. She didn't hate her origin, but she knew she wouldn't be able to stand future that her father wanted her to have. She knew that her family would look for her, but there was no way that they would find her - Av house was close to the forest and she didn't have any neighbors within a three kilometers radius.
She loved staying with Avery and Telly - although she had to do a lot of home duties, she was closer to the forest and the nature. She spent more time with Telly and it made her very happy. Avery was teaching her stuffs like beating stronger opponent or forcing others to tell them what she wants. She gave her a lot of fighting lessons and told her which plants she can eat and which can kill her. She was doing all home duties with Telly for Avery and she was sometimes also going hunting - she learned how to makes a traps and she was regularly delivering her new family a fresh rabbits' meat. Of course, hunting in the forest owned by local baron was illegal, but she learned that many years later. Avery didn't teach her how to make poison, what was making Glade kinda sad. She knew she was there only for limited time, but she hoped that she would stay with them, if the ranger wouldn't accept her as her apprentice.
Hopefully, this did not happen. Ranger admitted, that she had a potential, but he didn't want to take her, knowing it was against her parents will - his friend from Glade's fief was informed about her disappearance, since, oddly enough, timed perfectly with abduction of kids from other villages. He wanted to report everything to Glade's parents, who thought she was dead, but she couldn't because of a really unfortunate deal he made with Avery a very long time before. After an argument with her, he eventually agreed to take Glade as his apprentice.
Glade soon had grown fond of her new master. She was so happy she could do what she always dreamed about. Her training was hard, but she never regret it.
She met her brother 11 months later at rangers' annual meeting. First, Aydan couldn't believe his own eyes and was so happy to see her alive, but when she explained everything to him, he got very mad and started an argument with her. Glade felt really miserable, because everything she had done, was to make him proud of her. She told about it her master, but he asked her if she really did it only for Aydan and he made her realize that she loves being a ranger. Aydan hadn't said a single word to her and ignored her till the last day of meeting. When he was leaving, he hugged her and told her, that he was glad she was happy.
