Tace

Tace was born in a small village in Seacliff. She was a daughter of local hunter, who was providing meat for most of the village. Tace just loves accompaning him in hunting and she learned quite a bit about hunting and shoting with crossbow. She often "borrowed" his father crossbow and sneaked out of their hut to go to forest.

She had always been a bit of a tomboy. While other girls preferred to talk about their look, boys and braiding their hair, she preferred running, playing pranks, pretending that she is a real hunter. Girls talk usually really bored her. The only girl in a village, who actually never spoke about those, was Avery. Tace was fascinated by what she is doing and starting hanging out with her every day. One day, her village was attacked by Skandians. They set everything on fire. Most villagers were either killed or took as slaves. Tace, Avery, and Telly, Tace's brother were hiding in a old barn, but the Skandians managed to find them anyway. Tace acted as a bait, letting the other two run away. She was kidnapped and taken as a slave.

She was only 13 back then. She was taken to the Skandian's ship and she had to travel with all other villagers, who weren't murdered or killed by fire. That was pretty hard for her, and the only reason she survived was because of Avery's father, who always gave her away some parts of his food and protected her.

She lived in Skandia, working in kitchen as a slave for eight years. She hated every single second of it, but she knew she couldn't grumble - after all, work in kitchen was the lightest of all work other slaves did. The only thing that keeped her alive was a thought, that one day she'll escape and return to Telly and Avery.

Like all Arualuen slaves, she was freed after a battle against the Temujai. She could finally return back home. However, when she reached Seacliff, she learned that Telly and Avery weren't there anymore. She spend four years, travelling across the land, searching for them, beliving that they were still alive. She finally heard rumours about cruel "witch" making poisons, living in the forest. She wasn't sure that the "witch" was actually Avery, but it was her only hope. She travelled to Redmont to see with her own eyes, if her friends were actually people she heard about.
