Valentina is a vampire. She has sharp fangs, pointed ears and sharp facial features.

It's 1952. Valentina Vatore, a budding detective at the PEAK of her career, takes on a gravely unique case. She was looking into the disappearance of a woman named Penny Palle, which brought her to a frightful discovery: a coven of vampires. Her mortality was at stake. 

And it was this same night where she was turned, when she was able to fight off her vampiric attacker, so they couldn't suck her blood dry. And for a few days she felt bizarre. An unquenchable thirst was upon her. She knew exactly what she was becoming, however. But that didn't stop her from solving her case and having her bloodsucking assailant convicted for the girls disappearance and the attack on Valentina.

So where is she now? Valentina Vatore continues to work as a private eye, investigating her cases at night to avoid the sun. She feeds on the blood of criminals, blood donors and she has a sweet deal with the hospital where she can buy blood packs to drink.

The streets of the night are a lot safer with Valentina around, that's for sure.
