Personality

Qwen is a bastard, through and through. It doesn't seek out companionship, and respects nobody more than they respect themself. The only affection they give is fake, and all respect is but a way of reaching its own goals. This does not at all mean they act cruel towards humans, he learned a long time ago that being courteous is a much better way to get what he wants. Anyone above them, or fellow demons that aren't of any use, however, are met with apathy or even cruelty.

Around humans, Qwen prefers to take an authoritative but ultimately affable shape, while also relying on their charm. He's flirtatious in an assertive way, making himself appear desireable without giving his subjects the confidence to consider themselves his equals. They supress any and all trace of familiarity between themselves and their followers, appearing as a reliable and approachable figure without giving away his intent. While subjects might feel seen, like they know him; but upon further inspection they'd learn they don't really know much about him at all, their trust being built purely on charm alone. Thankfully, not many seem to make that connection, or at least act on it.

There is one exception, however. Though they would never admit it to themself or anyone else, their long relationship with Stephanos has softened them up to him a bit. You might even call them friends. Stephanos doesn't get in the way of Qwen's business, but their work relationship has forced them to be around eachother; first in the form of planning their next move, and much later morphing into something gentler and more personal. Their friendship is as far off from typical as possible, but they've both lived long enough, and both met enough people, to realize something is different this time around.

Physical

Qwen is a small demon resembling a Sphynx cat. They have a face full of wrinkles, which extend down the neck a fair bit. They have two large ears, completely furless like the rest of them. Most of its body is smoother, though more wrinkles can be found around the joints, and around the hips and crotch area. His upper body is fairly triangular, tapering off into a thinner waist, before leading into wide hips and thick thighs. The arms follow a similar shape, their upper arms being much shorter and thinner than the lower arms, which lead off into a pair of relatively large hands, with short fingers. Its tail is long and skinny, and ends in an arrow-like shape. Two thin bat wings protrude from their back, which are usually carried low when not mid-flight. This combined with the collar-like protrutions circling their neck results in the appearance of a collared cape.

His entire body is grayscale except several gold protrusions and markings. All claws, the tip of their tail, all 4 horns as well as their eyes and even tongue all resemble the shiniest of polished gold, as well as the 11 rings circling their tail. Its base color is a dark gray, with markings of varying lighter grays. Markings of note are the two stripes going down the front of their shoulder, into the chest, the three stripes on each thigh, as well as two stripes extending from the back of the upper thigh onto the back. Most notably are the cross on its forehead and the simplistic eyes on the inside of the wing, with three eyelashes onm each lid. The outside of their wing is the same dark gray as their main color. All pawpads are a medium gray.

Qwen has the ability to change size at any time. Its true height is around 3'5", but they can make their body either smaller or bigger on command. This takes a toll however, and is usually used only in the most dire of circumstances. Any change must keep his proportions intact, so no stretching of the limbs or similar!

Romance and sex [NSFW]

Qwen is a demon of lust; it has no need for romance, and will only seek out sexual relationships. Qwen's mission and life work is, simply, leading mortals towards sin, and will use their incredible charm to their advantage. Their relationship with Stephanos gives them more than enough candidates, meaning they can do their work more efficiently than if they were alone. Qwen is in a near constant state of heat, and can easily produce the same effect in others, making their job much easier.

Their core mission is reproducing with humans they deem ideal, creating offspring carrying his own strengths, but who will have greater ease blending in to society by appearing much more human. Qwen has no interest in raising said offspring, and will only check in regularly to make sure they're being raised to its standards, to one day take up the mantle and keep the domino effect going. Only a handful of them have grown into adulthood so far, and Qwen has gone to great lengths to keep as much distance between them as possible, to maximize their reach.

Despite its overseer's aim to create a large swarm of demons like it, to strike hard and true when the time is right, Qwen has slowly morphed that request into something much smaller and manageable. He cares not for world domination, panic in the streets or whatever else a greater demon might desire, and only does what he does for the fun of it. The job comes with a lot of praise, after all, and a chance to use his unique talents in a way that appeals to both him and the ones that claim to lord over him.

Through their work, Qwen will find a suitable human host and reproduce via ovipositor. The host's sex matters not, as strict training will ensure the birth of their offspring goes as smoothly as possible. The death of hosts isn't ideal, as its offspring still needs to be cared for like any human child, which has made them incredibly careful in their choice of hosts. Their ovipositor can take any shape, and will generally match the desires of the incubator at hand, while still being spacious enough to transfer eggs. The incubation period is relatively short, but the success rate is low, so it can take months or even years to produce a single viable progeny.

Origins and Lore

Overseer refers to greater demons within certain realms, giving orders to lesser demons to carry out their wills. Qwen's Overseer oversees the domain of Power, as opposed to Lust, which one might expect. This means his original task didn't quite mesh with their skills, and has proven to be more of a guide than a lifelong mission. Had it not been for their connection to Stephanos, Qwen might not have been kept around for as long as it has.
