Atreyu loves archeology and digging out remnants of lost cultures. That's why he wasn't too sad when he crash-landed on a bare planet, which looked barren on the outside but is full of archeological treasures on the inside. He's sensitive to heat so he hides in the ruins during midday. He soon realized the planet wasn't as deserted as he thought, when he met the barbarian princess Brunhilde.
