cool so what's happening here, uh, im noting everything i thought of today cause there's no way im studying today it's 1 am anyway, but i can't do decks for now
there's two main versions of him: the one that's 60-ish in 2020, and the one that's 16-ish in 2020
MAIN main is the 16-ish one, more probably like 14
so we've got codename: cat moving to wherever the fucks sents are with his family when peter is a baby. him scientist, very IT oriented because of c o u r s e (and just in case to future elec no you can't do this in mobbos cause dad cat's from the wrong bloodline you absolute fuckin idiot)
his son's a little shit who would've thought. dad doesn't give a fuck cause he's busy and son's like "why the fuck are you paying attention to your secret stuff and superheroes and not me" so obvs he grows up to hate that shit
he's a very confident boy tho and gets kids on his side v easily all "hi i'm rich new fresh and YOUR NEW GOD NOW. now let's go beat up some heroes bc i hate them" and all the kids are like WHEE also he steals the cat nickname from his dad and goes by mr. cat immediately
for old cat everything goes as normal with the goddamn technology merging when he's practically a young adult already, like 19-20. card deck is for old cat, the one that was born in 20th century
for young cat the realities fall apart before that and somehow i swear to god i'll make it possible, he meets his old counterpart and finds out about how his dad's gonna fuck him up and how he gets powers and all, and old cat's like "dude it's gonna happen anyway at least i can help you handle it better than i did" so young cat basically fucks himself up by his own wish and goes out to help save the world while trying not to fall apart it's perfect and edgy. he's younger so his body adapts a bit better to the powers than the old one, but instead his teen hormones mess with it more. idk how his powers work but they'll be a bit different than old cat, but not much. probably more vandellope von schweetz with like phasing n stuff
k so i think his powers are more like this:
when old cat was setting up the whole power infusement thing, he didn't do it exactly like his dad had, especially since dad cat wasn't done with his project yet in main timeline anyway
plus he takes some of the edge off young cat to help him adjust faster, which is also aided by young cat being young enough that his body doesn't react AS badly. but young cat due to circumstances wants to basically skip the first 10 years of suffering all his other counterparts had, and jump straight to battle, so he only gets the beginner powers for now: he has to work out the balance between himself existing and nonexisting, so most he can do is phase in and out of virtual state. items can't be phased by him, only special clothes dad will make him later. sometimes particles of him phase in/out with delays compared to the rest of his body, so his haste costs him multitudes of small internal bleedings. his body goes back to normal after phasing quickly, but not quickly enough not to warrant he'll sometimes like, bleed from his eyes or cough up some blood. that's unique to him, no other counterparts recorded had bleeding issues, idk if cause they just sat out the first 10 years, or cause his transformation was a bit different. he doesn't know it's unique tho cause ofc
he can also change his colours, the first step to shapeshifting within his own mass (he'll probably never toughen up enough to even try shapeshifting with that bleeding problem), so that's helpful for camouflage i guess. also signal detection and distortion is a given, he can't be recorded in anyway so he doesn't bother concealing his identity.
