◇Sancy diamond

After being fed up with excuses and lies from Chrys and Dresden, Sancy decided to make a stand towards the two diamonds. "How am I suppose to be the perfect Josephine replacement that you two want me to be when you keep telling me different ways to rule!?" Chrys gasped, as she never heard her yell before. This pissed off Dresden big time- "You. are. a. Diamond! The fact that you are as clueless and terribly reckless as your predecessor is ridiculous! When you emerged, I was surprised to see that Raven saw fit to keep you!"

"ENOUGH!" Chrys cried out. "You expect my little Sancy to simply understand what leadership is? Go tell your sapphire to read the past, why don't you!? I won't let you tear through her if you're just going to belittle everything she does! That's not how she's going to learn!" To her surprise, Dresden clenched her fists and backed down from the initial argument. "It takes a lot of nerve for a gem as pathetic as you to stand up to yourself." she muttered towards Sancy. Dresden glanced over at Chrys, "Don't let her do anything stupid". She leaves the room with irritation.

Chrys sighs and look down at Sancy to see that she is crying heavily. She kneels down and scoops the tiny diamond up. "I'm.. sorry about the confusion. Maybe I should..." before Chrys could finish her thought, Sancy interrupts. "No.. It's fine I-I just want to go... home..." Chrys stands up with Sancy sitting in the palms of her hands. "Of course." Chrys replies and begins walking towards Sancy's court. After a comforting walk, Sancy has stopped crying.

"Why can't I know the truth about Josephine?"
"It's complicated.. Raven and Dresden are afraid you'll end up like her if we speak too much on the matter."
"That can't be true! It doesn't make sense."
"Well when you see how unethical the ministry really is, you'll understand why she left us."
"...Do you know why she left?"
"It's unclear in all honesty. I wish I knew."
"Why can't we ask her?"
"Sancy!"
"What?"
"We can't just leave our duties as diamonds! Our courts would be worried sick if we disappeared for too long!"
"But.. my court is still in development. Only my pearl would miss me.."
"Sancy- I-I wouldn't be able to come with. I'm sorry."

After a few weeks of mental recovery, Sancy brings up the idea once more to Chrys, to meet Josephine in person. She grunts at Sancy, knowing that it's a terrible idea. But she doesn't want to leave her fancy Sancy clueless about being a diamond. She reluctantly agrees to drop off Sancy at Josephine's doorstep once Raven and Dresden become occupied. Sancy was thrilled to bits that Chrys is actually going to let her do this!
"In-and-out. Got it?" Chrys demands. "Yes, my Diamond!" Sancy responded with a happy-child tone. Chrys smiles and gently kisses her on the head.

Shortly after this, Chrys snuck around Dresden's court to find out where Josephine ran off too. a couple of cautious searching pays off and she discovers the planet where the blue diamond resides. She grabs Sancy and the two head off on a little "field trip". When they arrived at Josephine's court, they were greeted with confused looks amongst all the gems. They reach the throne room, where Josephine is sitting gracefully. She looks at them with an angry mask as an expression. She's clearly not pleased by their unexpected visit. Chrys and Sancy introduce themselves and explain why they've arrived without a notice. Josephine doesn't react nor reply to them. Chrys also mentions that Sancy was created to replace her. However, the blue diamond continues to sit in silence. Sancy, annoyed by not getting a response, stomps her foot and demands Josephine to tell her what the point of being a diamond is. Josephine stands up and confronts the tiny diamond. She explains in her own way, being a diamond is about power and showing her worth. "you have to fight to survive. Why do you think I left? Staying within the ministry is as childish as forcing your court to fight your battles and sing your songs.. I'm a diamond. I have no choice but to be a leader, but at least I can be worry-free from Raven's tyranny by rebelling against the ministry." Josephine continues on with her speech. The two visiting diamonds stand in awe, learning more details about the ministry's past. Eventually she orders Sancy and Chrys to leave at once, fearful that the ministry will learn of her (supposedly) secret location.

When they return, they're greeted by Dresden and Raven with unhappy faces. They know where the two have gone... Dresden was about to go into an angry rant about the two's unauthorized actions, however Raven beat her to it by explaining the young diamonds' "betrayal". "Oh! you two came crawling back to where you belong? Finally... If you had stayed with that traitorous pebble of a diamond any longer, I'd ..." Raven doesn't finish her sentence and her bright expression quickly turns sour. She summons a creepy-looking arm from her gem cut, which quickly smashes Chrys and then squeezing Sancy, causing both to *poof*. Raven turns away and orders Dresden to return their gems to their palaces. The green diamond is unnerved by this and does as she requests.
