Both a pioneer and a pariah in the medical field, Camellia has always been on the cutting edge of medical science. With a long list of achievements including neuro-interface prosthetics and robotic precision surgery ; it's a mystery why Camellia threw it all away. Shedding a dead name and an old life, Camellia now lives in a Podunk town - Woodvale - to continue the pursuit of medical perfection with 'unorthodox' methods.

Converting from a woman of science to one of spirit, Camellia's obsessed with fringe medicine from auras to healing crystals and rituals. Amethyst for headaches and mullein for coughs, she can be caught even recommending exorcism for persistent migraines. One of her most frequent prescriptions is to "activate your mystical awareness and let in light for your aura". Not quite something they sell at the pharmacy for a killer stomachache. But make no mistake, Camellia never puts anyone's health or comfort at actual risk for her own beliefs. She is still very willing to help others with more modern and proven methods. A master at diagnosing exactly what ails you, she prides herself (bordering on smug assurance) on making sure her patients get better and feel even healthier than before.

In her past life Camellia was too gullible, too trusting. Now she stubbornly refuses to let her moral compass or beliefs be guided by anyone else. Camellia refuses to compromise on doing good in the world, and believes all her unorthodox work is truly something that can redeem her. Working hard to care for this little town alongside her protege, Valencia, the recent murders and attacks have given her much more work than she bargained for.
