Threateningly selfless and loving; Valencia is a good-hearted girl with a vicious reputation. Valencia was infamous in her youth for always speaking her mind without exception, like a curse. She literally lacks a filter and cannot hold herself back - making her say inflammatory things constantly. Valencia's 'curse' has led to friendships being sparse and enemies being abundant. Although her childhood ostracisation gave her rage that persists to the present day, Valencia does her best not to stoke the flames of her feral anger, channeling it instead into tirelessly loving others. The only thing stronger than Valencia's fury is her love!

Valencia's rage stems from one source - the voice collar on her neck. Her birth parents, disappointed by their mute daughter and incentivized with a hefty sum of money, allowed a (now defunct) medical corporation to surgically attach experimental technology to her neck and brain. This collar essentially reads her mind and converts it into synthesized speech. It would be a gift if she could actually control it - but the collar indiscriminately processes every single thought she has, leading to her current curse. Sadly, her operation was done in such a way that it is irreversible. Her anger is not from her disability, but more from being exploited. She has really low tolerance for injustice and Valencia's anger is more of a intense passion for doing the right thing. Valencia's dreams of becoming a surgeon come from wanting to help others like her - and she’s managed to now control the volume on her voice collar. Now she doesn’t allow the past to burden her and faces the future head on.

While klutziness and latent temper are two traits that don't bode well for an aspiring surgeon - Valencia has her heart in the right place. Valencia is being mentored by medical outcast, Camellia, considering her to be a true mother.
