BATTLE EDUCATION

Rayden has been taught how to fight his entire life. From a young age, he showed incredible strength and it was decided that an axe would suit his style best. He has faithfully kept up his routine to practice and it shows in his mock battles. 

WEAPON SKILL

Rayden has now adopted a dual axe fighting style, though they're smaller and shorter than the other member's axes. This helps his speed go up a bit, and makes fighting against him quite horrifying once he closes the gap between you and him. He knows how to both attack and defend with the axes.

NO WEAPON SKILL

Rayden could lose his weapons, but it would not hinder how terrifying he is to battle. He is an incredible strong boy whose already rather tall and slowly filling out. He has trained his body to be his own perfect soldier. 

PERSONALITY

Rayden is known for being uptight, prim and proper. He has a hard time letting his hair down, and takes his position as a prince quite seriously. He's only human though, and will let himself relax a bit when in the company of friends. 

He's painfully stubborn and once he's made up his mind, it's very difficult to change it. This creates many problems down the line, as he tends to think with his heart over his head. Still, he's spotted with small smiles and genuinely laughing when he's not being professional about.

About

Rayden Helstrom is the second born child to the royal family. Crown Prince Nolan Helstrom is his full brother. Prince Glenn, third in line, was adopted at a late age and a childhood friend to Rayden. Thus, despite being his adopted brother, the two do not see each other as family. Princess Yulia is the last sibling, and only a half sister to himself. 

Rayden has absolutely committed his life to learning how to fight and battle for the sake of Nolan. He embraces the idea that Nolan will lead their country, and he plans on being Nolan's right hand man through the entirety of his reign. He takes that role very seriously, and this is probably also why he's so uptight. 

He is the Royal Lead for his class in the Royal Academy. He hand picked his Tactician and Next in Command, with full faith that these two could lead to victory even if he should fall. Which, he won't.

Celine Sterling [ love interest ]

Rayden is at first impressed by Celine's skill and intelligence. Everything was professional- at first. Over time, he got to see past the wall the very reserved Celine kept up. He'd see shimmers of her personality, the smiles and laughter. It made his heart flutter sometimes, and sometimes it was hard to stay composed around her. He tried not to let his shy feelings show, but for many it was obvious that Celine was something different to him than just another Royal Academy student. Though he's doing it with blush and rather warm, he'll bring her small gifts or flowers, unable to really say what he means. 

Nolan Helstrom [ brother ]

Rayden's big brother, who he heavily looks up to. Rayden is aware the two are very different so he cannot follow in his footsteps exactly, he knows he can protect Nolan at all costs. He relies just on Nolan's presence, not realizing what peace of mind the elder brother truly gives. The two get along very well, and Rayden will let his serious wall down when speaking with Nolan behind closed doors. Nolan is the one person who probably knows everything about Rayden, and the younger brother does not mind that one bit. 

Glenn Helstrom [ childhood friend ]

Rayden's childhood friend, whom ends up being adopted after tragedy struck. Glenn was adopted later in life, so the two never adjusted to seeing each other as brothers. Glenn's easygoing attitude can sometimes get under Rayden's skin, but that also means Glenn is one of the few people that can get the serious boy to nag or complain in the open. Rayden takes it upon himself to be the 'straight man' of the two, holding back Glenn from doing or saying things that are not very diplomatic. Rayden does tell Glenn quite a few things, but he's shy about love and tries to stay away from that topic. Glenn is one of the few people that could have a different opinion and still get Rayden to calm down.
