Thiago

Thiago was born and raised in Hateno Village by his single mother. His mother told stories about how his dad was a great Hylian warrior and all the good deeds he did, causing Thiago to want to be just like his father. He trained in handling swords in hopes to get into the Hyrulian Guard one day. But like every other kid, he went through puberty. But he went through it differently than the others, he ended up becoming more scaly and his hair also took a more fin look, and it acts just as weird. He was bullied for being different and ended up staying in his house most of the time. His mom eventually told him that she was lying, that his dad wasn't actually Hylian, but was a Zora. She didn't think that he would eventually get Zora genes, and could pass off him just having another Hylian dad as to not get bullied and to keep the idea of a "generic" family for Hateno.

Thiago was not necessarily mad at his mother for keeping the truth hidden, but he wasn't happy about it either. He planned for a few days but decided to run away and figure out more of himself and have a bit of soul searching. He only left his mother a goodbye letter before running off in the middle of the night with very little packed. He has struggled ever since, but he has made a friend, Hifur, who was kicked from his village for being different as well. The two have a great bond and stick with each other through thick and thin.
