Alvin's Links
(Matthew's Cousin)
Unlike his cousin, Alvin is a sellsword. They don't correspond a terrible amount, but they know each other fairly well. Alvin is pretty indifferent about the fact that Matthew is a scholar. After all, it doesn't effect him much and that's the way Matthew would prefer to live in the first place. Why stop him, right?
(Alvin's Cousin)
Unlike his cousin, Matthew is a scholar. They don't correspond a terrible amount, but they know each other fairly well. Matthew dislikes how much of a sellsword Alvin is and how unloyal he could be; he would prefer Alvin to choose a side and stay on that one.

(Alvin's Acquaintance)
Arkwright doesn't know Svent all that well, although they have spoken and met upon a few occasions. Svent occasionally visits to see his brother, Courtenay, and as Courtenay and Arkwright are pretty common to hang out with each other, Arkwright was introduced with Svent. He doesn't like him, though at the same time, he doesn't dislike him, either. He is wary of Svent, mostly due to the amount of loyalty that the viscet holds -- well, the lack thereof, that is. Svent also seems to trivialize Arkwright and Courtenay's technology and how much the two enjoyed studying and learning, finding it much less useful than just going out and getting into the brunt of things. Svent is completely aware of Arkwright's annoyances about the insults of technology, but seems to care none -- even going so far as to tease Arkwright further about the subject.
