BACKSTORY:

In his youth, Arcfire attended a boarding school with Crowley and developed a reputation as a bully due to the other dragon's bad influence. After leaving school, the pair stayed together for a year, but Arc eventually became so disturbed by Crowley's violent behaviour that he left him and travelled to the bustling city of Caelum in search of a fresh start.

He soon met Stal, a singer trying to form a new band. They struck up a friendship and Arc was invited to join the band as drummer. Since then, he has been playing with them while trying to atone for his past behaviour.

Arc is a do-gooder who feels most fulfilled when helping others. Friendly and courteous, he's always willing to take time out of his schedule to help someone in need, even if it inconveniences him to do so. He seeks redemption for his younger self's harmful behaviour by being the nicest person he can.

Deep down, the rebellious "bad boy" part of him still exists - and is perhaps the reason he decided to join a rock band. He does have some fond nostalgia for his past, but thinking about it usually causes him extreme guilt. He tries to leave it all behind by losing himself in music, alcohol and work, but can occasionally become quiet and morose when dwelling on his regrets.

Arc is somewhat forgetful and not particularly reliable; his schedule is often so full that he has to sacrifice less important obligations, which sometimes includes his band work. His habit of failing to show up (or cancelling last-minute) has caused some tension between himself and the band's frontman. Though he hasn't been kicked out yet, he's considering leaving the band due to guilt.

DESIGN:

Arc is a small, grey, wingless dragon. He has a long mane, turquoise eyes, and purple horns resembling an ibex's. His eyes have black sclera.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Stal

The leader of Arc's band, The Plague. They have a slightly tense relationship due to Arc not prioritising the band as much as Stal wants him to. Arc's feelings towards Stal are generally civil, however.

Gray

One of Arc's bandmates. They aren't close, but get along well enough.

Loch

One of Arc's bandmates. He enjoys her company and they consider each other good friends.

Pyre

One of Arc's bandmates. They aren't close, but get along well enough.

Crowley

An old friend of Arc's; they met in school and later travelled together. They used to be close, but eventually Arc became so disturbed by Crowley's increasingly sadistic behaviour that he gave the crowdragon a choice: change his ways, or Arc would leave. Crowley decided that this was a complete betrayal of their friendship and turned the argument into a physical fight. It ended with Arc lying injured on a deserted roadside and Crowley fleeing the scene via warp-portal. They haven't seen each other since.

TRIVIA:

- Enjoys watching golf on TV and has a minor interest in learning to play it himself.

- He lives very frugally due to his lack of stable income; he mostly does volunteer work, with occasional paid jobs to make ends meet.

- Arc's species normally have wings. However, he was born with extremely stunted, useless wings and had them removed at a young age.
