Ajax

During his first life, Ajax dreamed of becoming a professional athlete and trained hard since childhood. He enjoyed a variety of sports such as skating, soccer and basketball and loved the idea of competing in international events and one day joining a professional team.

Throughout his life, it was normal to receive a few injuries here and there until one fateful day he ended up in hospital after a serious accident on his way to an important event. This incident resulted in him missing out on the occassion he had trained diligently for. He was informed he will not be able to compete in any events for possibly months until he was fully recovered. This left him devastated as there would not be another opportunity like this any time soon.

After waking up in the hospital, friends and family came rushing in throughout the day. All but one. A certain friend hadn't shown up all day, the one who was travelling with him. He asked his friends and they all exchanged saddened expressions. He learns his friend had saved his life during the accident, however they did not survive and passed away moments after Ajax woke up.

Though he had missed out on an important event, the grief of losing his friend was much worse. The road ahead was going to be rough.

Ajax suffered from depression during his recovery and loss of hid friend. He blamed himself for their death. His usual optimistic self now feeling lost and hopeless. He wasn't sure when or if he would be able to recover. It felt like his dreams were on the brink of shattering completely. He had dark thoughts about ending it all but there was still a part of him that clung to hope.

He took a trip outside to clear his mind and to think about his life. During this trip, he encountered someone clinging for the life on the edge of the life. Without any hesitation, he rushed in to help pull them up and save them from a terrible fate. However, the ground below was unstable. Ajax fell but managed to grab onto a rock sticking out of the cliff however his fingers began to slip. The person he saved just moments ago reached out to help but he told them to run as the cliff edge was about to collapse. It was a matter of seconds before the edge crumbled, causing him to fall and perish.
