Profile
Honey Dendrite is an agate that was developed for reconditioning gems via force and intimidation. Honey was far too kind for this and generally did her job by encouraging other gems to mask instead, with the idea that they could continue to be themselves in private, they just had to make it through society without being caught for being different. When Honey met Violet, Violet was able to convince her that living inauthentically and in fear of being shattered was no way to live so Honey defected from homeworld with her. To this day she still supports gems who are afraid or unwilling to give up their lives on homeworld, though, and still supports those who choose to mask to fit in.
Honey Dendrite is taller than Pearl but shorter than Garnet. She wears a rust colored sleeveless turtleneck partly covered with a blue diamond shawl, black brown high waisted pants, and thigh high off-white boots. She has a heavier, curvy body type with broad shoulders and strong arms. She has two toned eyes that have rust colored irises and dark brown pupils. Her skin is tan with rust colored freckles, and her hair is rust colored, and short and spiky, with a dark brown undercut section. Her gem is complex with light tan, tan, rust, and dark brown stripes, and is located on the back of her head.
Honey is gentle and patient, sometimes too patient for her partner Violet. She takes her time to observe when doing things which can make people think she's not very intelligent. Honey is very fearful of authority and hates conflict, which can give her a bit of a cowardly demeanor. She misses homeworld more than Violet does, and thinks its valid for gems to mask to fit in so they don't have to leave their friends and their home to survive.
Honey Dendrite was created on one of Blue Diamond's colonies and brought to homeworld as a correctional agate. She has received a handful of assignments before violet, but instead of actually making changes to her charges' personalities she instead encouraged them to mask in front of their superiors and fulfill their duties as desired so that they could continue to be authentic in private, seeing no other alternative to homeworld's strict roles and rules.
Honey Dendrite was assigned an anxious sapphire who thought she was a ruby, Violet, and formed a bond with her. Violet eventually convinced Honey to defect from homeworld -- it being easier for Honey to do so knowing she wouldn't be alone. Honey can still slip into pretending to be a socially acceptable agate if she's not careful because she's still scared to be true to herself.

- When fused with Violet Sapphire, they form Angel Wing Alunite
Skillset
- Whip Master: Honey does not like battling but she has very accurate control over her whip. She prefers to use it tactically or to restrain enemies, rather than to hurt them.
- Superhuman Strength: Like most other gems, Honey has superhuman strength.
- Shapeshifting: Like other era one gems Honey can shapeshift. She usually only shifts to stretch her limbs rather than to change her form.
Unique Abilities
- Botanokinesis: Honey has some bontanokinesis which includes being able to control vines and make plants grow.
- Terrakinesis: Honey has some control over the earth, including the ability to crack the ground and levitate rocks.
Violet Sapphire
Honey has a queerplatonic relationship with Violet. The two round eachother out in ways that comfort the other, which encourages them to stay fused for longer than needed. Violet's motivation and passion can help with honey's slower pace and more cowardly demeaner, and Honey's more relaxed nature, and stability helps ease violet's anxiety and keep her grounded. When unfused there is some conflict about Honey's slow and relaxed pace, and her fearfulness of conflict, but their relationship is still very close and supportive.
Blue Diamond
Honey Dendrite was made in blue diamonds court and served her for a period before being assigned to Violet. Blue chose a gem from her own court because she wanted to be sure the job was done right, but she didn't know that Honey herself did not have the demeanor for her job. The two have them have generally had a servant/leader relationship where honey was fearful of Blue, and Blue barely acknowledged Honey's existance outside of what Honey could do for her.
