Leo has a bit of dad humor and loves a good joke. Although few see that as he has pretty high walls. He doesn't make friends easy but when he does he becomes very close to them. He doesn't like sharing personal information or talking about anything that could make him emotional.
Leo didn't start glowing until first year of high school. It was a gene that is dormant in both of his parents so he never knew he was part lamp till a cord started to form on his wrist just sometime before the glowing. His skin, hair, and eyes are always glowing. Except when he sleeps it is much dimmer and will flicker. His glow tends to fluctuate depending on how he is feeling. Extreme emotions and being physically active will make him glow brighter. When he is calm or sleepy the glow is much softer. His plug is needed when resting as it is suppose to be plugged in whenever he is sleeping. Unfortuntely he hung out with the wrong teens and it was ripped out in a suddenf accident. Now he has visits every month to the doctor to get a full charge. He cannot afford to go more often. This causes him to always look tired as well as having horrible stamina. He hates that he glows and has low energy so he often wears clothes that covers him up as well as pushing himself too hard and blacking out.
They met at a very young age and became friends right away. They lived a block from each other so always hung out. Leo started developing feelings for him but Shay dissappeared when they went to high school. He felt a bit hurt since it was so sudden. Shay's parents wouldn't respond to any atempt to get a hold of him when he first went away. Leo saw the other again while in college, and Shay was now a moth which explained why he left for so long. Now all those feelings he pushed aside are flooding back.
Sam was the first friend he made in highschool. He felt like the only geniune person who didn't think his awkward glowing was weird. They were friends during the freck accident and Sam helped him through it. Sometime between highschool and college they started dating. Everything seemed great but there was no spark so they ended it mutually and are still best friends.
They both work at a home improvement store but never really interacted all that much. Then one day Leo comes in extremely tired and overworks himself. He blacks out and Cole is the first one there to help him out till he woke back up. Sam came to pick him up and was super nice to Cole, begging him to let them make it up to him and invited him to come hang sometime. It worked out and they all click.
Ethan is Cole's cousin so after the three hung out a lot, Ethan got jealous and begged to come along. He luckily clicks with everyone else. Ethan and Leo like to get silly drunk and laugh about dumb shit.
Sam invited Kyle to start hanging out later on. Kyle was the third silly guy to add to the already dumb Leo and Ethan. Kyle may just like to get high but he also knows how to have a good time.
Leo only knows him through Cole. They don't hang out that often but it is kind of nice to be friends with another glowing type.
Leo only knows him through Kyle. They both share a passion for eating even though Blake has a very small stomach so can't eat much. They often share recipes with Sam and the three will often try cooking different dishes together.
