Overview / Historia

As a high-ranking knight, Ciel is known to be brave, courageous, and loyal. He grew up in the poorest area of Avaritia and lived in poverty. He was often harassed and bullied because of his family's very low status which in turn, made him become determine to prove that he was worth something.

At the age of 13, he decided to start training to become apart of the Avarice Royal Guard, for the purpose of both making a name for himself and to have his family receive benefits which included money, food, and a luxurious living space. When he was 16, he attempted to try out to become a knight but was not allowed to do so, but he was given a special opportunity due to his persistence. After defeating the Captain, the king's knight, and the queen's knight, in a 3-to-1 battle, he was approved and became a standard knight, as he intended. 

2 years after being a knight, Ciel was put into a small group with the best of the best Avarice knights and was sent to the Kingdom of Acedia, to help train their rookies. It was then he caught the attention of King Cas Blanchard-Prideaux and Queen Marissa Cascade, who were deciding which knight will be their son's, Prince Chestine Blanchard-Prideaux,  personal knight, once he became 18, 5 years from then. They decided that Ciel was perfect and arranged for him to return to Acedia on Chess' 18th birthday to begin his new royal duty as Prince Chess' personal knight. He is very surprised and pleased with this as he didn't expect to surpass his simple goal of being a standard knight and become a "royal protector". And due to the fact his father is Acedian and his mother is Avarice, he gained the title of "Sir Ciel Desrosiers of Avaritia and Acedia".

On Prince Chess' 18th birthday, he returned to Acedia and met Prince Chess for the first time. He was given a room right across from Chess' room and from then on, Ciel would always be there, protecting and accompanying his prince, eventually growing close to him and developing feelings for him, despite not understanding what those emotions were, within the next few years.

Appearance

Ciel is a very tall young man with vaguely curly dark blue hair, sky blue eyes, and a pale complexion. He wears the white "Avarice Royal Protector" uniform which consists of a sleeveless tunic, pants, a thick belt, a long coat with a hood, gloves, 7 armor plates (2 for the shoulders, 2 for the elbows, 2 for the knees, and 1 for the chest), and knee-high boots. He also adorns a simple black ring piercing on his right ear.

Ciel is the typical "stoic and serious" person. He keeps a neutral expression most of the time and he is not one to behave irrationally. He also is not very talkative, only speaking when spoken to. Due to the bulling he has endured, he also developed a somewhat asocial persona as well.
