Childhood

Son of the ruler of one of the rings of Hell, Azazel didn't exactly have a fun childhood. He never met his mother, and his father often neglected him, especially since he's the middle child. The eldest of the three was fully related to the youngest, Chris. He had the two half-brothers by his side for the first few years of his life until the eldest abandoned them without a trace. They struggled to take care of each other, as Cael had been the one taking care of the two of them since their birth. Azazel took on Cael's role and wasted away his chance at a proper childhood to keep Chris alive. Azazel and Chris fully gave up on Cael returning by the time Azazel was about nine years old.

Teenage Years

Chris could only handle being trapped in the same prison for so long. Once he grew old enough to think for his own, he followed in his brother's footsteps and disappeared. However, due to his bond with Azazel, he left a note saying he'd gone to 'the Overworld.' Now about fourteen years old, Azazel had grown used to being Chris' protection, and ran off to find him. He struggled for a timespan he can't recall, but eventually stumbled across his brother, hungry and sleeping on a mattress in an alley. He decided to let him sleep, and once they woke up Azazel swore to never leave his side until he's independent.

The two demons were eventually noticed by humans, which always led to a curious glance, which Azazel never let get to anymore than that. He'd drag Chris away around some sort of turn, hiding them from public eye. One time, however, they bumped into a taller teen, one with an alarming amount of scars and burns for a child. Chris and Azazel knew that wasn't usually a good sign, but their fear disappeared when the teen smiled and reached out his hands to them, whispering a 'c'mere!' With really nowhere to run and a sense of safety, they accepted the gesture and were lead to a nearby house's garage, filled with gadgets and surprisingly efficient robotics for someone of his age. He set up a mattress under his toolbench for them to sleep in while he figured out what to tell his parent. Out of fear of taking too long, he invited another friend over, this one somehow taller than the robotics teen. He lifted up the sheet hiding the two, blinked and started to laugh. He said, "I don't know how you managed to hide fucking demons in your workspace, but I got it covered." They didn't remember how he did it, but somehow, when Chris brought in that mirror, they looked human. After that, all Blaze had to do was tell his parents he found some kids without a home, and they happily took them in. They settled in with the the teen's friend group of five very peculiar boys in no time, and they became inseparable.
