I mean, it ain't really half-bad stuff tbh. But some items make you wonder, "When am I ever gonna use this?" And surely enough one day you end up using it.
But will you ever use it again? Probably, probably not. That's up for faith to decide.

He also tries to make people sign contracts so he can steal their souls but let's forget about that part, shall we?

He's just a dude with too much time on his hands after retiring from being a grim reaper.
All the sudden deaths were too much for him to handle so he hung up the scythe and decided to try doing other 'fun' things.
