Unlike her brother Riot, Rotten was born to die. While Riot's mutations all make him larger and stronger hers have doomed her to die in her early 20's.
Living on death's doorstep has given her no fear, knowing that at worst she's cutting off a year or two. No risk, no reward. When she was only 13-years-old she joined her brother in the coliseum to his protest. Fearing the worst for his smaller, sickly sister.
But Rotten is determined that they will die together in the coliseum.
When Riot is injured protecting her and "retires" from a bloodsport she finds him the biggest traitor. Completely separating from her once beloved brother, being a part of the crowd driving him out of town.
