Everlasting was rescued as a baby by Tassarin, the reclusive and morally questionable scientist, who found her on an unknown excursion. Ever since she's been raised by the not-so-good doctor and her wife, Li-Li. Also a bit by her aunt Ya-Ya.

However, despite her parents' love, she is incredibly sickly and must be kept under intense medical examination at all times as her organs are constantly under threat of shutting down completely. While Tassarin does all she can to keep her daughter alive, she is also desperately seeking a cure as her conditions worsen and she'll do anything to obtain it.

Everlasting laments her condition and her loneliness until a particular Dethkin waddles into her life.
