A young Zethyl from the southern savannah, Leanael is on a pilgrimage to the Temple of the Prophets. During her travels she makes the acquaintance of a strange Dragon from the distant land of Terra, a backwards place where Dragons aren't taught to fly or use magic or believe in the Maker…

Though she knows part of her goal is to learn more about the world and its people, Leanael is often too judgmental for her own good. She forms opinions of people quite quickly and is hard-pressed to change them - a dangerous combination. Locked into the teachings of her clan, her belief in Dragons' infallibility is a weakness of her own.
