Rani

Rani used to be a researcher with her partner, Chidori. The two would locate and capture rare animals so they could be studied, and helped pacakind learn more about the aquatic life. One day, the two are attacked by a Hollo. Rani manages to destroy it, but not before Chidori loses her eye and Rani is infected with Hollo. The two recover physically, but cannot bear to look at each other anymore, both bearing physical memories of that day. They separate, with Rani becoming a model and activist for Hollo infected pacapillars. She eventually heard about Chidori, and is in a battle with her ex; trying to keep other pacapillars safe, but trying desperately to find any trace of the paca she loved in her.
