About

Frieda comes from a fairly well-off family that had a nice share of a successful company. As her older brother was expected to inherit the company rather than her, Frieda saw it as an opportunity to do as she pleased. She would use her ridiculous upper body strength to help lift things for others, cooked, and even tended to the yard when her mother forgot. A lot of this was a subconscious plea for attention, which Frieda's brother instead received. Sure, her brother was expected to excel, which put pressure on him, but it put pressure on Frieda as well to get somewhere near his level. She determined by the time she entered high school that it just wouldn't be feasible, so she instead just tried to be as helpful and as happy as she could be, hoping to find some way out of her town. In the meantime, she would tutor her neighbor, Dawn, and pursue a relationship with Theo. While Dawn was kind enough, Theo surrounded himself with other women who constantly belittled her, and her boyfriend unfortunately would do nothing to stop them.

Subheader

Upon hearing that Oak Tree Town was in need of a farmer, Frieda decided farming was what she was meant to do instead of vying for attention from people who didn't want to give it. Thus, she informed her parents on how she was leaving her comfortable life to become a farmer --- that's when they suddenly got interested in her life, refusing to let her tarnish their social standing by farming in a hillbilly town. While they protested, Frieda was already packing her bags and ending things with her boyfriend, who got a swift punch in the nose after he responded he was already seeing someone else. She left with no regrets, but it would be much later when she'd realize what effect her departure left on her younger neighbor Dawn, and she tries in turn to stay more active in her life, even if it is just through phone calls.
