Personality
The first and easiest thing to find out about Charlie is that he absolutely loves people. He thrives whenever he’s around others. Charlie always has a large smile on his face and is super friendly. People find it really easy to approach him, and his earnest and wholesome demeanor make it hard for people to want to take advantage of him.
Charlie is also incredibly smart. Math is one of his strong suits - when it comes to complex calculations, he’s got them in the bag. Calculus was one of his favorite subjects in school. He’s also quite good at reading people and understanding the way they work. When people try to pull fast ones on him, he’s able to catch them in the act.
Although Charlie is quite brilliant, he has a bit of an issue maintaining a work-life balance. If it weren’t for his phone reminders, he might forget to feed his dog because he gets so wrapped up in his work. However, he does deliberately make an effort to check on the things he loves. It’s just something he has to force himself to do.
Charlie’s the guy to go to if his coworkers need emotional support. He is very emotionally intelligent and can help others understand their emotional issues. Unfortunately, Charlie has the issue of over extending himself. He thinks he can help everyone out with their issues, but he is only one guy.
Charlie plans ahead for every contingency. He’s got everything from plan A to plan Z just in case something happens. Life likes to throw it’s curveballs, though, and when he’s confronted with something that wasn’t accounted for he freaks out. Big time. He isn’t the most flexible of people.

- Charlie is able to summon a light-based horn from his gemstone in order to do magic.
- Charlie likes to accessorize by wearing plants. Most of the plants he wears are taken directly from his garden.
- Charlie is a sweater vest kind of guy. He tends to prefer comfy clothes over fancy ones.

- Charlie is a managerial accountant for Modelle Inc. He’s in charge of a couple of people and is primarily focused on company purchases.
- Charlie lives in a small home with a massive backyard. He spends a lot of time in his backyard gardening a variety of plants, from decorative to edible.
- Charlie owns a big fluffy dog. Whatever happens, he will always make sure his darling Maxwell is taken care of.
- Charlie is nearsighted, which is why he has glasses.
History
As a kid, Charlie had a fairly average middle class life. He had friends, loving parents, and a quiet neighborhood. Nothing particularly special happened. Of course, this meant that Charlie was a bit lost on what to do with his life. He liked a lot of different things, of course. What should he do?
Charlie spent much of his young adult life drifting from minimum wage job to minimum wage job. It wasn’t until he ended up doing some accounting for a charity that he realized that it was something he could actually do for the rest of his life and not hate it.
So, Charlie went back to school. He was a bit nervous because he was older than the other students, but his anxieties were soothed when he met fellow student Hadrian, who was also going back to school to be an accountant after poor life choices.
Eventually, Charlie was able to settle into a job with a nice routine. He fully realized his hobby of gardening, which he made sure would be able to continue on. However, Charlie does feel a bit restless with his current, boring life. He’s just not quite sure where to go from here.

Charlie will never not be impressed with all that Carolyn does. Her leadership is powerful and she’s more than willing to listen to the complaints of her employees. However, she also terrifies Charlie. Seriously, she is not someone you want to cross. Charlie doesn’t want to be fired - literally, considering Carolyn is on fire.
Okay, so maybe it’s a bad idea to have a crush on your boss’ husband. Sure, they’re in an open relationship. However, Charlie knows he doesn’t have a chance. Carolyn would murder hiim on the spot. Apollo makes his heart flutter, though! What’s a guy to do?
Charlie is good friends with Hadrian. The two of them are very close. They’ll exchange services for each other - Charlie will babysit for Hadrian so they can go out with their wife, and in return Hadrian will watch Charlie’s dog. Charlie enjoys spending time with Hadrian, and wishes he could spend even more time with them.
