Appearance

Haruka has auburn hair and sky blue eyes. Her distinctive feature is her hair loop, which she meticulously maintains.

At school, she wears a pink button-down cardigan. In summer, she wears the regular uniform, but without any tie. She wears white knee-high socks in both her uniforms. She likes to wear simple, cute, and comfy clothes.

Personality

Haruka is cheerful and can be somewhat airheaded. A super-optimist, she believes that she can accomplish anything as long as she works hard enough. Because she's very imaginative, she likes thinking up crazy scenarios and gets disappointed when they don't happen. She's pretty impulsive and often behaves recklessly, much to Kazuhiro's and Sora's worry. She can also be really dense and a horrible judge of character, like how she unironically trusts Izumi.

Because she moved neighborhoods a lot as a kid, Haruka doesn't have many friends and gets lonely very easily. As a result, she's very clingy and affectionate towards the people she likes. Despite her cheerful demeanor, she doesn't think highly of herself and often insists she's just normal.

Relationships

Kazuhiro Kawasawa  [ Clubmate ]

The two met upon the start of their 2nd year, with Haruka insisting that Kazuhiro join her club after seeing how beautifully he takes photos. She tends to drag him along her pace and sometimes infects him with his manic energy, but regardless she's extremely grateful for his presence and considers him a special friend. She's extremely oblivious to his feelings for her and always misunderstands his confessions, at least at first.

Sora Furutani  [ Classmate ]

Classmates and best friends since 1st year. The two became friends when Haruka approached Sora over a book she's been reading. The two are very close and affectionate towards each other, the other being their first proper friend. Haruka often encourages Sora to be more confident and always tells her to explore beyond her boundaries. Since the two are classmates, Haruka tends to miss her whenever she's absent.

Hajime Ozaki  [ Upperclassman ]

The two became acquainted through Sora. Haruka sometimes writes the drama club's scripts upon Sora's request, so she also often visits her club. She's just as awed at Hajime's acting like Sora is and is quick to praise Hajime for it. Haruka and Hajime also get along really well due to their similar wavelengths.
