Appearance

Kazuhiro has dark blue short spiky hair and grayish blue eyes. He always wears square blue glasses.

At school, he wears an apricot-colored sweater vest and a white button down with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows in winter. In summer, he wears the regular uniform, but without a tie. For his casual clothes, he prefers to wear jackets and denim.

Personality

Kazuhiro, despite his tall stature and grumpy disposition, is actually a tsundere. Various people note that he's fun to tease because he's high-strung and easily flustered. Due to his realist and grounded personality, he's pretty much the tsukkomi to everyone, much to his chagrin. Amusingly, he himself often overreacts and goes too far when it involves Haruka. He can also be quite awkward and shy when interacting with unfamiliar people.

Kazuhiro has an inferiority complex with regard to photography, and tends to undermine his talents. Nevertheless, he genuinely loves photography and would do anything for a good shot. He's very detail-oriented and can be very picky with his photos.

Relationships

Haruka Hirai  [ Clubmate ]

Meeting at the start of their 2nd year, Haruka pestered Kazuhiro into joining her club after seeing his photos. Kazuhiro considered Haruka an extremely odd girl at first and initially only joined her club because he got carried away, but quickly develops a crush on her after being inspired by her relentless optimism. After he realizes his feelings, he tries numerous, numerous times to confess to her, but Haruka is too dense to notice.

Sora Furutani  [ Friend ]

The two became acquainted through Haruka, who they both agree is an inspiration to both of them. They get along very well, being both tsukkomis, and often commiserate with the other for having easily excitable partners. Due to Sora's closeness with Haruka, Kazuhiro sometimes considers her as his love rival. Even so, he sometimes volunteers to assist in the drama club's photoshoots as a favor to Haruka, which Sora appreciates.

Izumi Ishida  [ Upperclassman ]

Izumi is well acquainted with the newspaper club after running into them a couple of times. He sometimes looks out for Kazuhiro considering his awkward nature and sometimes invites him to play darts together. He also easily notices Kazuhiro's crush on Haruka and sometimes assists him with it, but Haruka is simply too oblivious.
