Noël Zaher was born in Porto Novo to two fathers from Al-Arabija. They lived happily together until his younger brother, Tariq, was born when Noël was twelve. One father unexpectedly committed suicide, his other driven by grief into the arms of a fascist organisation, disappearing from his children's life.
Noël couldn't stand the thought of putting Tariq, or himself, into care, and spent the next five years splitting his life into school and looking after his younger brother while faking his father's presence to the authorities and his neighbours.
When Tariq turns five and enters school, Noël's time frees up and he eventually starts dating Noah Santos.

APPEARANCE
The first thing anybody ever notices about Noël is his huge canine teeth, a werewolf aspect he fails to hide as he's always smiling. His hair is black, curly and grows quickly, regularly changing from ponytails to short cuts. His favourite outfits contain baggy shirts and flannel jackets.
